Lumi admits it, she hates her short haircut.

I mean, if she planned it well ahead, she would've liked it, she had always loved short hair on her since it fits her so much. But she impulsively cut it short, mercilessly, in the abandoned Girl's Bathroom one day, sobbing, that you might have mistaken two Moaning Mrytles present there. She had a stoic expression at first but even the ghost could see through her, and she was the one invisible between the two of them.

Looking back at her reflection, she touches the ragged edges of her hair. It's as if it's piercing to the touch, mocking her more as it lays at the sides of her face. This is what she gets, in the means of wanting "change" or "new look" with her hair, she's now more scarred with her look along the reminder of the stupid, most shittiest mistake(s, add her ugly hair, to put emphasis, urGH) she had done.

Why do they have to still constantly haunt me for the mistakes I made?

"Yah! Lumi, our princess! Still, Sleeping Beauty up there or are you Rapunzel now?" Dokyeom called from downstairs since he can't really go up the girl's dormitory. It sounded like he was close to the stairway though, or that he is just that loud.

Does he not have some decency? Though, most of the people in the common room left it empty since most students are in classes right now.

Lumi finally snapped out of her trance.

Dang! She has Potions today!

She hurriedly got her satchel and zoomed down the stairs to meet Seokmin with wet hair still. "Don't you have classes today, oppa?"

"I don't, not till afternoon. And don't worry about me too much, you're already late!" Seokmin practically pushed her out the dorms, he handed her a piece of bread. "Come on, Jungkookie left this for you. Geez, if only you woke up earlier. Now hurry along, missy."

"I did! I just got distracted!" She was then shut up with a piece of bread in her mouth, but more so as how Seokmin can be such an older brother at times. "Geez, it wouldn't hurt to brush your teeth either! I'll be going, Oppa!~"

He didn't have the chance to retort back as the younger rushed out the door, more so as he did smell his morning breath.

Lumi was in a hurry, she didn't even have time to control her feet to avoid the figure ahead of her, and to process that she already bumped into someone.

She's only the one who was left off balanced, falling flat with her bum on the marble floor. The taller, male figure remained standing in front of her.

"Shit!"

She immediately covers her mouth at the profanity, not having the chance to even wince in pain, quickly bowing her head as she noticed the silver badge on the taller male's emerald collar.

She filched. A Slytherin Prefect.

"Watch it, kid... your mouth too." The male spoke, coming off as stern. As intimidating his gaze and deep voice can be, his tone didn't sound much like a threat.

He quickly picks up the books the younger dropped. Her mind went blank for a bit, trying to remember where she might've encountered the older Slytherin.

He looks familiar.

This might be the other prefect Yuta or Doyoung might've mentioned. Or did Hanbin-oppa... Though this isn't the right time for such matters.

"Min Yoongi..." A soft mumble slips off her lips, making the older male turn his head at her.

"Yeah, I'm a Prefect of Slytherin house if you've heard." His voice is as soft spoken ... she wonders how it can be as soft and deep at the same time.

"I... yeah." She can't find her voice at the moment.

Lumi wasn't in the right mind still, even as Yoongi finished retreating her textbooks at hand, she's just staring at the older's pale hands in front of her.

Oh, right I dropped myself along my books, even in front a senior, a prefect even— stupid.

Lumi takes the older hand's offer. He lifts her up to stand on her feet effortlessly.

"Running late?" Yoongi asks as he lets her brush herself, handing back her stuff. She snaps her head at the older as it hits her.

"Sh— Yes, I'm..."

"I'm guessing Potions?" Yoongi says. Lumi nods at him, as he gives an expectant look for her to hurry up. "Come on, you're lucky that Professor Slughorn is more laidback... unlike Snape."

He had a nasty grim look on his face, as if he swallowed several slugs at the mention.

She almost winced at the mention of the name too. She did hear awful things from their Slytherin Head, much more on how he treats his students if he's assigned professor.

"Was he that bad?" Lumi looks up at Yoongi, wanting to be not as harsh as it seems. But his look says otherwise.

"You wouldn't even begin to imagine how dreadful it was." As Yoongi said that, his footsteps' echoes came to an abrupt halt. She didn't even notice they already reached the doorway of the cold Potions classroom.

They looked over inside and saw Professor Slughorn already discussing his lesson in front of the class. Lumi glances back at Yoongi as he talks to her again with that soft spoken tone.

"I'll just excuse you I guess, that means I'm letting you off as well."

Lumi just nods at him at that, hurrying to not mind his tone again. She clutches to her satchel, already stepping into the doorway when a light touch on her wrist brushed into her skin.

Electric.

She looks back at the older Slytherin, his gaze piercing through her. Though she was more than sure it was because of the below temperature of the Dungeon floors that made it seem like that.

"Make sure you don't get lost or make me catch you running around again." Yoongi bellows, eyes steady at hers. "Or I might actually not let you off."

She didn't quite get the chance to react as the older male slipped off a piece of parchment on her palms and turned his heel at her before she got to talk.

What was that about?
