spu·ri·ous (adj.) : not being what it purports to be; false or fake.
The raven haired girl laid out all her parchment and writing tools on the wooden table. Since it was Lumi's break, she might as well use the time to finish some homework. But she looks so out of it.
The Hufflepuff is actually glad it's not about what happened these past days that was bothering her. Fortunately, the Gryffindors are just too busy like most with school works to bother her.
Having the Common Room not much crowded added to her relaxation, she really thought it would pull through with her mood. But she noticed how she's still drifting off. It saddens her how her Camomile tea just continued fuming away its scent.
Lumi had been thinking...
Adding to her predicament on the Amortentia earlier this week, weird. Just... weird.
She brushed off the due paper for now. She sighs, maybe her halfway finished paper is actually good.
She can talk about her Amortentia issue later at their study session. They're doing it by the fields later that day anyways. By them it includes them maknaes fooling around whilst getting some work done.
Almost all of the squad was already assembled in the hangout place. Though Sierra informed them with some news. "Hansol-ie won't be able to come today along with Raine, they're held back with some class duties."
"Sad. I was looking forward to sharing some calligraphy with Raine." Gwen pouts, adding to her dismay. "I guess it's just the three of us for tonight. Seungkwan and Chan ditched us as well."
Bummer.
"Isn't it Quidditch season?" Sierra perks, taking out her books on her bag. She shrugs off their absence as it came in mind what Dino had been going on and on for these past weeks. "Well, can't blame 'em, Chan had wanted to tryout for the longest."
"You look too occupied there, something up?" Gwen had noticed Lumi being quiet since they got here, she even got here way too early at their call time. She figured something might've been bothering her this week. Just making sure... maybe.
Lumi started off quiet, a bit sheepish to ask. "Oh... I mean if it's not a bad time. We're here to finish our homeworks to begin with."
Gwen smiles at her friend, she can be quite transparent.
"Oh please, we mostly ogle at our crushes or fool around just after doing our papers. Opening up is fine here, Lu." Gwen reassures her friend.
Lumi huffs, straining a smile. Oh right, nothing new here with them.
She observes her friends briefly, feeling her muscles not as tensed as it did. Lumi almost forgot how she could be open around them unlike the other crowd.
"It's just I have a question, it'll be better to also have Raine and Hansol here though for their insights. But what do you think of Amortentia to begin with?"
"I wouldn't actually use it though." Sierra directs. Lumi agapes, she didn't want to come off strong to her actual question but she might've asked wrong.
In which she was now sure she did with the reactions of her friends.
Gwen's eyes widen. "Wait, are you actually thinking of using one—?"
I didn't mean it that way!— She stopped the two with further questions.
"No, no. wait... I was just referring to the smell I mean." Lumi defends, blushing. Here it goes. "Like, do you think it can change, I don't know, smells?"
