Distance means differently for people.

But for Jihoon's case, it's never an occurring thing to even think about not till lately. And he's in the zone of knowing its meaning with someone.

Jihoon had been focusing more on his writing more than ever. But he can't help to associate it with the harmony, the loudness of beats, and the tempo.

As he's seeing the distance closing off better between them, he encountered a different problem. Their pacing.

Jihoon took that leap of faith right after the Yule Ball, in hopes that he did read right in getting on the same wavelengths as Lumi that night.

And these days, the younger Hufflepuff has been a big help on the writing part, but why does it seem that he gets lost in track more that he wants to define "closeness".

Especially involving Lumi.

Seeing now that they've gone outside their own little world, they went beyond what they used to already. More carefree that they're moving forward. But the problem with Jihoon is he hasn't quite caught up yet with his own feelings. Hence being not synced with the Hufflepuff's pacing.

And realizing too late that he feels differently now that they're close...

What proximity can do to your perspective.

"Jihoonie-oppa?" It took three chances for Byul Lumi to snap Jihoon out of his trance, even dragging his feet out of the publishing team as he's on other people's way.

As much as the room is getting more occupied, the same that the Slytherin's mind seems to be, the more that he kept prolonging his stares on the older. If you were to be put into the younger's place, you'd be stuck in place.

She tilts her head, acting more overt with her frustration as he smiles more.

Hiding her face behind the folder she has at hand, Lumi can't help but flush a shade of pink.

The blond Slytherin could only scratch his nape sheepishly, clueless as Lumi shakes her head. "You're no fair, oppa. I dragged you here to help me with finding something, but you are spacing out the whole time." The pout on her face tells it all. "Did you even manage to pass yours for editing?"

"Oh right, I'll do it another time." Much to Jihoon's embarrassment, it was a 'no' for him.

She sighs more as she sees Jihoon still not empty handed.

"Alright then, let's go?" The younger brushed it off, she clings onto the wrist of the Slytherin.

And it felt so light weight recently though. How much the warmth of her skin would land on his... Jihoon is left getting carried away with her as they make their way to the halls of Hogwarts.

It felt such a rush for him, but to Lumi's case this is just all too fuzzy to think about. Now being this casual and close with him. She can't help but wonder though, she had known Lee Jihoon as this always focused and a can't be bothered student. So what's with him lately that he's so out of it?

It must be with his writing...

She could only guess. As she didn't have the chance to ask as Jihoon's the first to do so. "What did you finish back there again? On the publishing..."

"Oh that, didn't I tell you?" The nervousness on her tone, had him perk a brow at her. They had gone through it earlier though but luckily, he was paying enough attention as he asks. "It was the handwriting thing, right?"
