twenty three

it's the day after graduation. the boys finally got to walk across the stage, receive their diplomas and be sent off into the real world to be officially known as adults. it was exciting yet, scary at the same time. however, zayn and harry didn't feel they needed anything to fear as they had one another, and they planned on sticking together through everything. soon, they were gonna head off to university together— the one they applied to and thankfully both got accepted into. it was located in america, so they definitely had a long journey, but for now the two just wanted to enjoy the wonders of being out of high school, and some time off from school.

to celebrate their graduation, the seniors threw together a big block party tonight, all graduating seniors were only allowed to come, it was going to be so much fun. zayn definitely wanted to go, so did harry, especially since the last time they attended a party it didn't end too well. this was certainly going to make up for the disaster last time turned out to be. harry was in a good mood, he was happy, he was ready to party and dance the night away with all his fellow classmates and his loving boyfriend.

he and zayn had been doing so good this week leading up to graduation, so they both felt really good and they had their minds cleared of any and all possible conflicts tonight. tonight was not the time to pick fights over petty issues, and neither one of them planned on ruining it. everything was going to be perfect, and they were going to enjoy this.

they both got ready at zayn's house, not getting dressed up too much as they'd probably end up ruining their clothes later tonight anyway. harry went with a loose blouse and plain blue skinny jeans that hugged his long legs nicely. while zayn has on black bob marley t shirt and some black loose jeans with boots. zayn's hair is pushed to the side very sexily, and harry's hair is just pulled into a messy (but really cute) bun.

"babe, you look so hot, i'm kinda jealous already." harry says as he walks over to zayn, wrapping his arms around his neck. zayn smirks, moving his hands down to grab harry's ass squeezing it gently in his hands. harry squeaks softly.

"mm, you got nothing to be jealous of but yourself, because you are your only competition." zayn tells him, leaning forward to kiss harry on the mouth. harry giggles, closing his eyes briefly, melting into zayn naturally.

"i hate that you always know what to say."

"i'm just speaking the truth, baby." zayn says, kissing harry on the nose, before pulling away. they smile lovingly at one another. "you ready to go?"

"yeah, babe, let's go." harry nods.

the two head off to zayn's car, getting situated inside, before zayn turns on the ignition and pulls out of the drive way. music plays through the car on their way there, while they engage in casual chit chat. zayn parks a little ways from the big house, he and harry climbing out of the car and immediately going onto the side walk to grab hold of one another's hands, making their way up to the party.

they could already hear the loud music echoing through the streets, other people driving up and parking nearby and walking up as well in the same direction. the music gets louder as they near it, and soon the big house comes into view and they see people outside with drinks in their hands, chattering and standing around, and even more people inside appearing through the windows.

zayn smiles squeezing harry's hand as he leads him inside, the music now consuming their ear drums and vibrating through their bodies. there's a crowd of people inside, dancing to the music, grinding up on one another, talking, and yelling. zayn takes harry over to where alcoholic drinks are being served back to back, grabbing himself and harry a beer. the crack their drinks over, smiling at one another as they clank their cans together and then start downing their drinks, trying to get a little loosened up.
