April, 1 Year LaterYour time in Korea became a distant memory as you returned to college life back home. You had finally been able to let go of Rosie. You never told your friends you had (sort of) dated a Kpop star, not even when your roommate Emily mentioned Blackpink had a concert in your city. You didn't feel the need to tell them; you preferred to keep it to yourself as a special memory you were lucky to have.
One day you got home from your classes where Emily was cooking dinner. The doorbell rang.
"(Y/n) can you get that? My hands are full" she said.
"Sure thing."
You opened the door and gasped. Standing in front of you was the last person you expected to see here; someone you thought you would never see again.
"R - Rosie?"
She was still beautiful as always, but she looked different. Her hair was back to its natural black. She also seemed like she wasn't doing too well. She was paler than you remembered, her usual cheerfulness was gone, and she seemed unsure of herself.
"Oh (y/n), I'm so, so sorry."
She moved to give you a hug but you stepped back, hesitating. After everything that had happened you couldn't just dive back in.
"I'm sorry. What brings you here Roseanne?" you said flatly.
She flinched when you called her by her real name so emotionlessly. "I know I'm probably the last person you want to see, but I had to make it up to you. I'm so so sorry for the way I treated you, you were my friend and I ignored you, it wasn't fair, I didn't want to but..." she stammered, trying to keep herself together.
You felt slightly irritated; it was too little too late. This must be a convenient pit-stop to clear her conscience while Blackpink were in town. "Hold on. Why are you saying this now? You had all that time, you could've just told me you were dating Jungkook." You had moved on with your life, and the last thing you needed was her to drag you backwards.
"(Y/n) I wanted to, you have no idea how much I wanted to but Jungkook was really controlling, he wouldn't let me."
You let out a dry laugh. "So why are you talking to me then? Jungkook is clearly more important, shouldn't you be with him?"
"I broke up with him (y/n)" she said quietly, looking at her feet. "I was such a fool to ever pretend he was more important than you."
Emily appeared behind you. "Is everyth - ohhhhhh my god" she gasped as she saw you talking to the Rosé of Blackpink.
