08 - "Not A Date"

Rosé POV

I got up from my bed, smiling now.
50% because of the stew, but I'd be lying if I said (y/n) wasn't the other 50%.

It just occured to me that not once had they gushed or sucked up to me for being Rosé. It wasn't actually important to them, they just cared about our friendship and wanted me to be honest. It was so refreshing. Ok ok, maybe        (y/n) was 75%. Maybe.

I'd better get myself cleaned up, I thought as I looked in the mirror. I really was a mess. I looked like something that crawled out of a swamp in Chernobyl. Oh no, (y/n) had seen me like this! I ran to the bathroom.

I had just come out with fresh hair and makeup when I heard my members at the door. Yikes, I'd better get some clothes on too, I thought as I ran to my room.

"We should check on Chae" I heard my members' voices in the living room.

"Yeah, what happened to her anyway? She was fine and then -"
"She had that phone call remember?"
"Yeah but who called her? Her and Chanyeol aren't dating... are they?"
"No it's not that, it sounded like that
(y/nationality) friend, the one who doesn't know who she is"
"But why would she cry about that?"
"She wouldn't"
"Unless they found out?"
"Anyways guys we should check on her, shes probably still crying"

"Chae, can we come in?"
Uh oh. My members were expecting to see a sobbing mess, but here I was all ready to go out. They opened the door and stared at me. I stared back.

"UWOHHH" Jisoo was shook.

"But you were... sad?" Lisa was puzzled.

"Oooohhhh, looks like someone's ready for a date"

Jennie had caught on first. Or no, wait, she hadn't, because it wasn't a date. Right?

"Oh no Jennie unnie it's not a date" I said blushing.

"Date? So cool~" Jisoo chimed in.

Jennie smirked, "Let me guess. It's just with a 'friend' right? So who's the lucky guy/girl who gets to take our little Rosie out?"

I was too shy, and I had to go. "Sorry guys I don't have time to explain. I'll tell you everything when I get home" I said as I headed for the door.

Lisa was still confused. "Okay but what's going on? First you were crying, now you spin 180° and go on this Cleopatra type shit -"

"Lisa let her be, she's going to be late" Jennie interrupted. Jennie was always the one trying to get me a boyfriend/girlfriend. She was dating Kai from EXO, and one time I was out with them when Chanyeol "mysteriously" showed up.

"You look amazing Rosie, have fun and be safe."

I ran down to the bottom floor of the building to catch my ride. Usually I got a ride from the YG staff, but they would be too suspicious. Luckily I had a secret weapon: my older sister Alice pulled up.

"Get in loser. Let's roll."
