As you fell asleep you drifted off into a dream. Everything was distant and fuzzy, but you had a feeling you were on a beach somewhere. You could feel sunshine on your skin and hear waves crashing softly. There were people there too - happy people who were talking, laughing and singing but it wasn't clear enough to see their faces or hear their words. All you knew was that it gave you a warm feeling and you didn't want it to end.
In an instant something happened and the feeling was gone.
