I spent at least an hour walking around, why was calum acting the way he was? what happened, why was everything so different now? I didnt like how distant we became over a short period and for what?

I messaged luke telling him not to worry, I sat on a random bench as i pulled my jacket round me tighter, my head clouded with anxiety, had something been said about me? Endless thoughts made me more nervous.

As the streetlights turned on, the sun slowly started to disappear so i traced my way back to his house to try and talk with him, i didn't want to end what we had. Looking at his driveway all the cars had disappeared besides his which made me slightly happy, going over what i would say in my head i slowly opened his door and closed it behind me.

The sound of the piano filled my ears, hearing his soft voice sing made me not want to interrupt. I walked up the stars, standing outside before finally building up the courage i slowly opened the door to the music room, duke immediately running to me i smiled and quietly petted him. I sat beside Calum on the music stood and looked to the sheet music, my hands playing the keys to a song 'Lover Of Mine' I briefly looked to him, seeing his eyes on me.

He immediately started to sing, he didn't tell me to leave, he didn't look at me like a stranger all he did was sing. He only had written up to the second verse and it already sounded amazing, i was excited to see the end piece, cal quickly fixed one of the notes, asking me to play it again he nodded in satisfaction. "Can we talk?" I whispered, he cleared his throat, letting out a meek "yes."  I nodded slowly and took a deep breath, looking to they piano keys.

"I just want to know what i did wrong, Cal-um" I corrected myself quickly, fiddling with my hands. "Please try to understand that i tried talking to you cal, but when it became morning here, it was late for me, i did try" I sighed, feeling his arm wrap around me, i smiled as he pulled me close to his side, i missed him.

"I know, baby, i know you tired, i tried, we both did and i was the one acting like a jerk and im sorry" He whispered, kissing my head. "i missed you so fu*king much, princess" I smiled at his pet names, i stood up pulling him up with me to give him a proper hug. Wrapping my arms around his waist tightly i burrowed my head in his chest, "I missed you more, calum."

I helped cal pick up all the beer bottles from outside, jet lag really kicking in i let out a yawn, cal noticed this and laughed, taking the rubbish bag from my hands "its already eight, you should sleep through to the morning" He smiled, kissing my cheek. "Okay, ill go up- where is the spare room?" I asked, biting the inside of my cheek not sure of where he wanted me sleeping, he frowned and shook his head. "No, Carr you can sleep in my bed, its okay- if you want to shower the bathrooms beside my room" I nodded and thanked him before heading upstairs.

Crawling under his sheets i let out another yawn, pulling the sheets up to my chin i smiled as he walked through the door, pulling his shirt off before getting in beside me he pulled me close kissing my nose softly. "i know you're tired, love. But i just wanted to talk for a while, its been lonely without you" I hummed and nodded, kissing him gently but his hand moved to the back of my neck, giving me hungry kisses.

"What was that for?" I giggled softly, my hand resting on his chest, i kissed his neck gently. "I told you, its been lonely" I looked at him in admiration, he really was good looking. Calum ended up putting a movie on, sharing a few more kissed I felt myself become more tired, cuddling into his side i drifted off to sleep with the warmth of another human.

"Carter, wake up" I groaned and curled into the sheets more, enjoying the warmth pushing the person away, i heard a chuckle before soft kisses to my face "noo, cal five more minutes" i whined and opened my eyes to look at him, he gave me a soft smile, kissing my nose softly. "as cute and cuddly you look, i'm saying no, its already twelve, you've slept long enough."
