The Party

After getting dressed with Dani I popped back into my room and plugged in my curling iron, and decided to do my makeup. I blended a crimson red into the crease of my eyelid and smeared some gold eyeshadow onto the lid.

I then went in with my eyeliner and did some light wings, after that I swiped on some mascara. I did my face makeup, brushed on some highlighter and filled in my eyebrows again. I felt like I was missing something so I put on some red lipstick. Perfect.

I curled my hair into big diva curls then ran my fingers through it a few times. I grabbed the black clutch Dani was letting me borrow and threw in my phone, credit card and lipstick.

As I opened the door I came face to face with Maihua, "Where are you going?" She asked.

"A party." I snickered, flipping a piece of my hair over my shoulder.

"No, not unless I'm going, you are not wearing that." Maihua responded.

"Why? You're not my girlfriend so just leave me alone." I pushed past her and started walking down the stairs back to the living room.

"Hey y/n!" I heard Frankie shout over the music playing.

"Hey Frank!" I strolled over to where he was standing. "What's going on?"

"We're predrinking." He laughed, "You want something? I do pride myself in my drink making abilities." He motioned towards the kitchen.

"Yeah sure, how about a mojito?" I smiled.

"Coming right up!" He put his drink down on the table in front of us and walked over to the kitchen.

"You're not going to drink?" I heard Bia say. She was obviously drunk, slurring her words together and not being able to stand up straight. "Bitch! You look so hot!"

I laughed and responded, "Thanks! Frankie's actually in the kitchen making me something."

"Let me guess, a mojito?"

"Uh... yeah. How'd you know?" I chuckled.

"You're so basic. Try this." She handed me a shot glass with what I was assuming was tequila. "It's really good!"

"Okay," I downed the shot, the liquid burning the back of my throat as it went down. "Holy shit."

"It's awesome, right?"

"Hand me another one."

She gave me another one and I downed it again. "WHOOOOP!" I screamed.

"Hey y/n! I have your mojito, quite proud of it." I looked over to Frankie.

"Thank you so much!" I took the drink off of him and started sipping it, "This is like... really good Frankie."

 "Thanks!" He smiled and picked up his drink from the table again. The song changed and I'm Ready by AJR started blasting on the speaker.

"Yes! I love this song!" I yelled over it.

After an hour of pre drinking I was really drunk, and I usually wasn't a big drinker. We decided to call cabs and leave the house to get to the party.

When we arrived Dani and I headed straight to the bar. "Two vodka cokes please." Dani ordered for us.

"No problem." The bartender responded, turning around to make our drinks. He handed them to us and said "Enjoy your night." With a smile.

"You too!" I shouted over the music.

"He was flirting with you!" Dani yelled.

"So what, I'm gay." I giggled.

"He looks like a good lay though." Dani laughed.

"Well then you chat to him, I'm going to go dance with Frankie." I chugged the rest of my drink then stumbled out onto the dancefloor to find Frankie.

"Hey Frankie." I slurred, I could see myself talking but I couldn't control what was coming out of my mouth. "Let's dance!"

"Okay!" He put his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him. "I got to say y/n, you look really good tonight." I could feel his hand snaking down to my ass.

"Thanks, you too!" I backed up a bit out of uncomfort, but he pulled me close again and continued to inch his hands down my sides.

"Why don't we get out of here?" He suggested.

"We just got here!" I giggled.

"Let's just go talk, somewhere quiet." Even drunk I knew that sounded really sketchy. He pulled me out of the crowd and into what looked like a bathroom.

He pinned me up against the wall and I could feel his breath on my neck. "Frankie, I don't..."

"Shh..." He cut me off and kissed me.

I pushed him off of me, "What the hell Frankie!"

"What, don't act all innocent now." He laughed. "Leading me on and then stopping me now. Slut."

Those words slapped me in the face. I'd never been called that before. "Shut the fuck up, you don't know me." Wow, I don't think I've said that to anyone before.

"Y/n, come on just a bit of fun..."

"No thanks." I tried to push past him but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back again. "Frank. You don't understand."

"You think I don't know?" What? I guess he saw the confused look on my face so he said, "That you're a faggot." I felt my chest heave and my eyes started to tear up. I hate that word. And for good reason.

"Then why me." I met his eyes. "Why not any of the straight girls here."

"Cause I can change you baby." He walked me into a wall and held onto my sides. "I can make you straight again. You're too pretty to be a fag."

"Frank, stop saying that."

"What? Fag?" He looked amused. "You're a fag. Maihua is a fag. Lex is a fag. Wow, are all of your friends faggots?"

"Hey, why don't you get off of her." I heard her voice.

"Oh..." He laughed. "Are you, Lex and Maihua all together? That's cute."

"Shut up Frank." I watched as his fist connected with Maihua's right eye socket. I tried to stop a big fight from happening, but Frank pushed me away before punching Maihua again.

"Frank, stop it!" I yelled at him.

"Stay out of this, baby," He said, turning his head to look at me, Maihua took a shot while she could, smacking him in the jaw. Who the hell does he think he is? My boyfriend? She shook out her hand, but kept a lookout on Frank. I saw everyone rushing inside the bathroom.

"Maihua..." I could feel the tears coming up, "Please, stop." Maihua dodged another punch and Frank gathered up the courage to take another swing, Maihua grabbed his fist, swung it around his back and pinned Frank to the floor, banging his head on the cool surface.

"Maihua, stop it! Now!" She looked up at me and I could see the regret in her eyes. She got off of him and grabbed my hand to pull me out of there.
