I love Cupcakes

Estas loca gringa!

 When we found the bus that would take all eleven of us to our AirBnB, we all piled in our suitcases and got on our way immediately. I don't think any of us could stand being inside that airport when it was so sunny outside.

Since Dani and I were the first people to the bus we got to choose seats first. I sat all the way in the back row right next to a window so I could look out and not get sick on the way there, I had a history of getting carsick.

I connected my headsets to my phone and started playing some music. "Hey cupcake." I heard faintly, I pulled out a headphone and glanced in her direction.

"Hey Maihua." I smiled.

"This seat taken?" She pointed to the one next to me.

"Uh... n-no." I nervously quavered.

She laughed a melodious laugh and took the seat next to me. I watched as she observed my phone, "Nice song choice. I love Paula Abdul."

"Me too." I laughed with her. "Wanna listen with me?" I offered the headphone that wasn't in my ear.

"Sure." She grabbed it from my hand and stuck it in her ear. I continued to look out of the window and caught her reflection looking at me. I turned to look at her and smiled as I caught her surveying me.

"What are you looking at?" I asked, amused.

"You."

When we finally got to the house, a couple songs later, we all unpacked our things from the bus and stood outside in awe. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. The front of it was a bright white with blue tiles surrounding doorways and windows.

And there were a lot of windows.

There were three doorways on the second level that led to a communal balcony. I could only assume they were doors that led into bedrooms and I was really hoping that I had one of them.

Once we had all made it inside of the mansion, I noticed that Maihua was missing from the group. She's probably just on the beach or something.

Bia read out what rooms everyone was in, since my name was first on the list I just left straight after I heard it to find the room.

My room was not one with a balcony, but it had a very nice ensuite and a walk-in closet with a king sized bed. To be honest, I wasn't comfortable sharing a bed with anyone in the house besides Dani. Let us pray that she's my roommate.

I started unpacking and I heard an obnoxiously loud knock at the door. I went to answer it, I opened the door and saw Maihua standing before me. "Hey," I croaked, not expecting to see her here.

"Hey, cupcake." She beamed at me, picking her navy blue suitcase up off of the hard-wood flooring outside my room doorway.

"What are you doing here, Maihua?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. I suddenly felt self-conscious about the tiny black spandex and sports bra I was wearing, so I crossed my arms against my chest.

"You're my roomie, did you not hear? Lex is staying with family for the first month we're here and you're the only person she trusts enough to have me stay with." She placed her hand on the back of her neck sexily.

"Uh..." I said, unable to speak to her. I was shocked to say the least.

"Are you gonna let me in, cupcake? I need a place to sleep... " She said, grinning. She had a way with me, I looked away blushing.

"Why do you call me that?" I asked her nervously. "I mean... "

"What's it to you, y/n?" She asks, "Can I come in now... please?"

"Yeah, sure..." I said, shaking my head confusedly. I opened the door wider and walked to the giant king-sized bed to finish unpacking. I heard Maihua shut the door behind us.

Maihua flopped her bag on top of the bed and started unpacking too. She took out a stack of shirts. The one on top had my favorite movie on it, Love, Simon.

Oh, how I'd love to sleep with that on... Focus, y/n!

She walked into the bathroom with her toiletries bag. "Hey, y/n!" She called. "I'm going to take a shower, no peeking!"

"Ok!" I laugh anxiously.

The way she peeked her head out the bathroom door, I knew she was half naked.

She walked out with just her boxers and bra on and commented, "And no stealing my clothes, I saw you eying up my Love, Simon shirt. You a fan?"

OH MY GOD! I glimpsed down at her abs then my eyes fluttered back up to her face. She walked towards me, in just her underwear.

"Yeah... Just a little..." I giggled a little, knowing my cheeks were glowing red, I tucked my face to my chest. She put her curled finger underneath my chin to lift my face up to hers.

I stare at her emotionless face for what seemed interminable. "Cupcake," She whispered, not finishing the statement. She had an unreadable expression written on her beautiful face.

She walked around the bed, grabbed a clean pair of boxers and her Love, Simon tee and went back into the bathroom for the second time, and this time she actually got in the shower.

"Did I see what I think I just saw?" I heard someone, it sounded like Dani. I turned to see her standing in the now open doorway, grinning like an idiot. I blushed a little, and walked over to her.

"She called you cupcake, she doesn't even have a nickname for Lex like that!" She gushed, squealing in excitement.

"Ok, ok... chill, we're platonic." I uttered, focusing on the bathroom door.

"What! You have a king bed! No fair!" She yelled, "Wait, where is she sleeping?"

"In the bed, I mean I would hope." I began, motioning toward it.

"And where are you sleeping?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I'm sure as hell not sleeping on the floor!" I replied.

"Yeah, Lex is going to kill you..." Dani chuckled, flipping a strand of her black hair over her shoulder.

"She's my best friend, no she won't." I retorted. "She knows we're roommates."

"Estas loca gringa." Dani covered her smiling mouth with her hand. "She probably doesn't know you're about to share a bed with her girlfriend."

"I'll just call her lat-"

My mouth went dry as Maihua stepped out of the bathroom in her clean boxers and tee. "What're you guys talking about?"

ahh! another part! I've been writing all afternoon so I'm hoping to get another update out today! I have about 4 chapters written.
