I love Cupcakes

France

 "Hey cupcake," Maihua said, smiling. "How did surfing go?" I sat down next to her on the soft sand.

"I'm a natural." I laughed. "I actually think I'm not too bad for only going once."

"Next time bring me and I can be the judge of that!" She said laughing with me.

"I think you just want to see me in a bikini again."

"That too." She grinned, placing her hand on my thigh.

"Come with me," Maihua said, I looked over at her, confused. "I'm going to France to live with family."

"Maihua, I could never..."

"Y/n, seriously." She looked me in the eye. "Come with me,"

"I couldn't, I mean my sister and dad..."

"Y/n," She said. "Please,"

"Let me think about it." I walked away from her. I trod up the stairs and ran into Dani. "Hey can I talk to you about something important?"

"Sure, what's up?"

I pulled her into my room and began, "Maihua just asked me to move to France with her."

"Woah. That's a big step. Are you ready for that kind of commitment?" She asked.

"I'm not sure that's why I wanted to get a second opinion."

"I'm not going to tell you what to do but aren't you going to university after this summer is over?"

"Yeah." I replied nervously.

"I wouldn't give that up to go to France with your high school girlfriend."

"I know. It'd be really irresponsible but I love her. So much." I reasoned.

"You may love her but is that really a reason to move out of the country with her? You guys could break up on the visit, and you will have to move back to Chicago and be homeless!" She said, dramatically.

"I could come live with you though, right?"

"Ugh, yeah." She started picking at the sheet on top of the bed we were sitting on.

"See!" I said, knowingly. "At least, I'd have a fall back plan."

"A fall back plan for what?" Maihua walked into the bedroom wearing her leather jacket.

"Moving to France with you." I said, jumping up from the bed and ran my hands down the collar of the jacket, folding the flaps down where they were sticking up.

"You made up your mind?" She joked, smiling. She wraps her arms around me, making me feel warm and loved.

I smile into her chest and squeal with excitement. "Wait..." I paused. "My sister would still be with my dad, I'd have to take her with me."

"We can work out the details later." Maihua said, squeezing me tighter into her chest. "For now, just think... soon you'll be in France..." I closed my eyes and dreamed of what it might be like.

"I love that." I laughed, pulling away from her warm embrace.

"I know you do." Maihua joked, picking me up by the waist. I wrapped my legs around her hips and she held me close to her chest. I look into her eyes and she looks into mine...

Dani coughed obnoxiously so we knew she was still there. "I'm still here."

"Okay." I laughed.
