The Aftermath

 "We're home," I hear her voice. "Cupcake?" She looked down at me, I opened my eyes and drew my fingers down from her jawbone to her lips.

She carried me up to our room. "I'm going to clean you up," She said, placing me down on the bed. "Where's the fucking first aid kit?" She mumbles.

"I'm just going to go to bed," I said, closing my eyes and laying down. I kicked off the heels I was wearing and snuggled into my pillow.

"No you won't." She argued, coming out of the bathroom. "You need to sit up and try not to fall asleep, you are going to be worse in the morning if we don't clean you up tonight."

"Ok." I agreed, sitting up. "What happened?"

"A-ha, found it!" Maihua says, not even looking out from the bathroom. She came out of the bathroom holding a white box with a red plus sign on it. "You were beaten up pretty bad."

"How?"

"Well when I burst in you were half naked already and he was about to... you know..." She opened the kit and took out the alcohol and bandages.

"And a few more people came in and started throwing punches so I fought back you know..." She poured some of the alcohol onto a cotton pad and dabbed it onto the wound on my cheek. I didn't flinch, I was used to doing this myself after fighting with my dad.

"And two of them were on me and I tried so hard to get to you..." She started to tear up. "Anyways, I was really scared and my adrenaline kicked in and I fought off the two guys and managed to pull off the two guys that were on you."

"Thank you, Maihua."

"I lo-" She stopped mid-sentence and looked at her lap, "Anyone would've done the same."

I knew what she was going to say so I said, "I love you too."

"What?"

"I love you too."

"I love you."

I kissed her so hard, trying to express the amount of love I had for her, all of her. Her flaws, which she had none of in the first place, her dreams, her desires. She placed her hand on the side of my face, her thumb caressing my cheek.

She let her tongue glide on my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I allowed it. She pushed the first aid kit off the bed without breaking the kiss and climbed on top of me. Her hands were on my waist and then one started moving up until it was grasping my breast. "Maihua." I squeaked.

"Yes cupcake?"

"I think we should go to bed." She kissed my neck and worked her way up to my lips, where she placed one last one.

"No problem, anything for my girl?" She whispered while running her fingers through my hair.

"No," I smiled. "Anything for my girl?"

"No." She laughed. She climbed into bed next to me and hugged me tight. I flinched once or twice from the bruises on my back and ribs that were already purple.

"Sorry, y/n.." She said.

I turned around, so I could see her face. I traced her perfect jawline. "How are you so beautiful?" She asked me.

Maihua Lee is calling me beautiful.

"It runs in the family." I laughed, this was really a lie, my sister got all the looks in the family. My younger sister, Regina, had perfect white teeth, wavy hair, she was tall and toned. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean.

Regina was going into 5th grade, and she was as tall as me and I was a senior.

"I have an older sister, you know." She said, as if reading my mind.

"Really?" I said, "Because I have a younger sister."

"Grade?" She asked.

"5th." I giggled, and she curled her finger, placed it under my chin and brought my face up closer to hers. I looked into her eyes, "Maihua, I..."

"You what, cupcake?" She started kissing me and I tried to push away from her, I put my palms on her chest and pushed with all I have in me.

"Maihua." I said, flinching when she started rubbing my thigh.

"Cupcake?"

"Maihua, I'm a virgin."

"Okay." She brushed hair out of my face. "If you don't want to, we don't have to."

"I'd prefer to wait."

"That's okay cupcake."
