"I'll make the popcorn!" Called out one of the boys, more specifically, Frank.

I leaned in closer to Maihua as we sat on the couch together. "I love you, cupcake."

"Love you, too." I said, looking up at her.

"There's probably something that I should te-" She started to say something, but Dani hushed her then started the movie.

"Can we go chat?" Maihua asked.

"Of course." I whispered to her.

We got up from the couch and left. "Maihua,"

"Look at this beautiful sunset." She said looking out onto the horizon. She sat on the sand behind some palm trees.

I sat next to her and leaned onto her shoulder. "What did you want to tell me?"

"I just want to be real for a second."

"Okay..." I said, unsure of where this was going.

"After we get back to Colorado, what's going to happen?" She looked at me, scared of what I'd say.

"Well... I'm going to college in the fall." I said, avoiding the obvious.

"To us."

"We'll make it work." I assured her. "We will, I promise."

"Where are you going to college?" She sputtered.

"Colorado College."

"Holy shit. How did I manage to trick a smart one into liking me?" She laughed, wiping her eyes. "What are you majoring in?"

"Physics. Why are you so upset Maihua?" I grabbed her face, squishing her cheeks together, and turned her head to look at me. "What's going on in your head?"

"I'm..." She stopped and looked at me nervously. "I'm not going to college. And I'm not sure where I'm going after this."

"What do you mean?"

"My sister's moving away and I live with her." She pulled her face out of my grasp and looked out at the horizon again. "I might move with her. But if I don't, I don't have anywhere to go."

"Mai..." She looked at me again, this time with tears in her eyes.

"I don't want to worry you but..."

"Maihua, you can't tell me to not worry if you are worried about it. We're in this together, okay?" I took her hand in mine and squeezed it lightly. "For now, we have about six weeks left here, let's enjoy it."

"I agree. Let's enjoy it." I grabbed a handful of sand and I poured it down her shirt.

"Hey!" She laughed, grabbing sand and throwing it at me, she took me into a deep kiss and rubbed my back gently.

I sat on her lap and ran my fingers through her short hair while she planted small kisses on my neck, I could feel her fingers playing with the hem of my shirt, "Stop playing."

"Oh cupcake, I never play." She lifted my shirt over my head and turned me over on my back. "I always top, didn't you know?"

"I do now daddy." I saw a flash of fire in her eyes as she smirked and leaned over me, her arms on either side of my head, the chain on her neck dangling in front of my face.

"You might regret calling me that, cupcake."

"I don't think I will." She leaned in and kissed me, dragging her tongue on my bottom lip, I opened my mouth to allow entrance. Her right hand ended up on my back, undoing my bra.

"Maihua," She stopped, looking at me concerned. I dragged my hand from the bottom of her stomach to her chest, pulling her shirt up. She pulled it over her head and threw it to the side.

"Cupcake, can I?" I smiled and bit my lip while nodding. She undid my bra and slipped it off my arms. I saw her eyes fill with desire and lust as she looked at my body.

"I love how safe I feel with you." I said, she looked in my eyes and leaned down to place a kiss on my forehead.

"I love that you feel safe with me." She replied, "I feel safe with you too... I'm not afraid to fall." I smiled at that, feeling a pure happiness that I hadn't felt before. I cupped her cheeks and brought her face closer to my own.

"I'm already falling."

"What do I see here?"

"Hm?" I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked over to see that Maihua and I were sleeping on the beach. "Sleeping." I looked up to see who it was "Oh."

"Oh my god!" Lex said, "You slept with her! I can't believe you!"

"No, it's not like that." I replied, standing up.

"Don't tell me what it's like, y/n." She cried. "I'm in love with Maihua." Maihua stood up next to me and placed her hand on the small of my back.

"Lex, really?" I rolled my eyes. "You're not in love with her. I am. I have been since I was fourteen and you knew that and dated her anyway."

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said, crossing her arms and shifting her gaze to Maihua. "And you. You're a slut, you know that? You're a little skank."

"Hey don't talk to her like that." I defended her.

"Oh so you don't know then?"

"Lex please." Maihua took her hand off my back and ran it through her hair.

"What?" I looked between the two of them. "What don't I know?"

"She cheated on me." Lex grabbed my hand, hoping for sympathy. "Three times."

I stepped away from the two of them. "What?"

"Cupcake..."

"No, Maihua." I turned away and walked back up to the house. I went up to our room to grab my phone and some money.

"Cupcake what are you doing?" Maihua walked over to me, concerned as to what was going on. "Where are you going?"

"None of your business." I got my things and left the room, I grabbed Maihuas car keys on the way out. She chased me out of the house.

"Y/n. What are you doing? Do you even have a license?"

"Nope." I hopped into the car and locked the doors before she could get in with me. I just needed to blow off some steam. I knew how to do that.

She tugged on the door handle. "Y/n get out of the car." She kept trying it as I put the keys in the ignition. "I swear to God y/n, get out of the car."

"No." I turned the keys and put the car into drive. I took a drivers ed class when I was 15, I'm sure I remembered at least some of the things we learned, right?

I pushed onto the gas pedal and started off.

"Y/n!" She chased me down the driveway. "Stop!"
