Chapter 23- fast line

September 10, 2001

Well it's been like 1 week since Marshall flayed to LA and I miss him like crazy! I miss his laugh I miss his smile I miss everything about him! And it's been a fucking week. Today just to clear my mind from work I'm going out with Emma and a couple of friends. I'm now at my work place about to pack my things cause I'm off in like 5 minutes but Liam comes into my office

"Hey" he said with a smile

"Hey" I smiled back

"You're up to show me the town today or what?" He asked and I totally forgot about it!

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. I totally forgot I'v just been kinda all over the place." I said with an embarrassed smile and he laughed to himself

"Nah that's cool but can you today?" He asked and I was thinking about tonight maybe I'll invite him?

"Well I'm going out with friends today but you're more then welcome to join" I said with a smile

"I'll love to. Where you all going?"

"Just some club"

"Well you'll send me the name and the hour and I'll be there" he said with a wink and left the room. Wow ok..I need to tell him that I'm in a relationship.

I got to the club and I see Emma with Mia and Stephen. They're more friends with Emma than me but yeah we're still friends.

"Hey girl" Emma said and kissed me on the cheek

"Hey" I said and gave Mia and Stephen a hug "how y'all doing?"

"we're good you know same as always" Mia said "but what's up with you girl?"

"Oh you know same old same old" I looked at Emma and giggled with her. Suddenly I feel someone grabbing my shoulder and I turn around to see Liam "hey" I smile and give him a hug

"Hey. Hope I'm not late" he said with his beautiful smile

"No I actually got here now too" I said and turn around to see Emma frowning at us "well guys this is Liam I work with him" I introduced him and he pulled his hand up

"Nice to meet you" Emma stick her hand out with a flirty smile and he shake it and smile at her too. Ok I think Emma had a little too much drinks tonight. "So how old are you Liam?"

"31" he said still smiling

"What?! I would have never guess you passed 25" Stephen said with dramatic voice. Yeah he's a little extra but that's what I love about him

"Well thank you" he said with a smile and he looked at me "would you mind if I'll buy you a drink?" He asked me

"yeah sure" I smiled at we both set down. After a lot of drinks I feel a little too out of control but I have so much fun. Emma and I dance together and I feel someone getting behind me. I'm so drunk that I don't care I just keep dancing. But after 10 seconds I realize what the fuck I'm doing and I turn around to see Liam. And I just instantly walk off pushing through people. I sit in a chair on the bar and just order another drink. What the fuck was I doing?! My thoughts are cut off by Liam who walked up to me

"Hey what's wrong?" He asked me and I looked at him

"Liam I'm not up to this now. I have a boyfriend" I said but he took a step forward

"Last time we talked you said you're single" I didn't look at him

"Well now I'm not . So please stop I think we should stay friends." I said but got even closer

"Nah I don't think I can be just friends with you." He said and took my hand and I looked at his eyes and yank my hand away from him.

"I said I have a boyfriend. What part in that you don't understand?!" I raised my voice and got up

"From all the looks you gave me tonight I don't think it's true" he said and got so close but I pushed him away.

"I'm just drunk Liam don't flatter yourself" I said

"That's never excuse" he said with a smile and leaned in but I smacked him in the face and walked off. I just needed to get out of there.! I walk out of the club and decided I wanna go home. I just text Emma to let her know I left

To Emma: (11:22pm)
Hey boo left to go home. I'll talk with you Tomorrow :-*

After I texted her I called a cab and waited for a good 10 minutes. That's when my phone went off and it was Marshall.

"Hello?"

"What the fuck do you think you're doing Naomi?!" He said with angry voice and I frown at that

"What are you talking about?" And he laughed sarcastically

"What am I talking about?! The fact that you rubbing your ass and throwing yourself over some fucking guy in a club that's what I'm fucking talking about!" He yelled

"How do you even know I'm here"

"One of my homies saw you and fell the need to call me and let me know what my girl doing while I'm fucking working"

"So what you think I'm fucking him now" I got angry

"You tell me how it looks like Naomi!" He yelled

"Unbelievable" I said and just hung up the phone. I can't believe he's being like this!! I can't believe he's talking to me like that! Marshall rings me again but I don't pick up the phone. Then my phone vibrated and it's Marshall

From Marshall: (11:35pm)
Naomi don't you fucking dare ignore me right now!

I didn't reply. He sent a couple more messages and I didn't open the phone. I saw the cab coming but someone touched my shoulder and I knew it was Liam

"Look lia-" I turned around but stopped as I saw who it was. I froze in place. James. What is he doing here?!

"Keep going she's coming with me" he said to the cab and grabbed my hand. I didn't know what to do. My body completely shut down.
"Missed me?" He said with a nasty smile and I just stood there not knowing what to do. You see...what nobody knew about our relationship is that james was abusing me. I loved him with all my heart but after the second year the we dated he start acting all crazy. He would beat me he would curse me he would rape me. And yes I said rape cause sometimes I didn't want too but he did it without my will. I didn't told nobody at that time cause I was so foll in love and I thought he loved me I keeped by his side when he threw chairs and hot water on my face causing me some bad scars. I didn't even tell Emma and she saw me with bruises a lot of times and I had to make something up. Only after I met Marshall I thought really deep into what happened to me and I was fucking disappointed. How the fuck was I so blind?! He would beat me and I thought he did this out of love cause a couple of hours later we would have sex. all the horrible memories are now coming back. Eventually I decided to tell his girlfriend Lisa the one he left me for what he put me through and I told Emma too and she was shock so was Lisa. She told me she would break up with him but I didn't do it cause I was jealous or something. I just didn't want any other girl going through what I went

"What do you want from me" I whisper out of fear

"You're coming with me back to my house" he said and I look down at his hand that still griping mine

"I need to go back inside" I said and about to walk off but he didn't let me

"Oh no you don't" he said and pulled me in his arms but I fought him I tried to push him but he was so tall and so big I didn't have any chance

"Hel-" I half screamed before he covered my mouth and picked me up. I did anything I try to fight him but then he put me in his trunk and
And closed it. I screamed on top of my lungs and cried. I didn't know what to do it all happened way too fast..
