The next day...
The breakup video got out, it was Donghyuck again, who posted.
Mark was determined to expose Donghyuck. But, how can he? He doesn't know anything secretive about the boy. He asked about his friends, but nothing came up.
Mark spent days, suddenly obsessing over Lee Donghyuck. He knows where Donghyuck lives, but nothing of where he lives is said on the student profile. What the school knows is that Donghyuck is one of their many male students, who is more of a mystery than the school's secrets.
"Yah, why are you so interested in Haechan?" Jeno asked.
"No reason," Mark said.
"Well, I do know something, he is gay but people don't really judge here," Jeno said, making Mark roll his eyes.
"But, I'm serious, he likes guys," Jeno said.
"Thanks," Mark muttered.
Then Mark wondered, why was Haechan hiding underneath a mask...?
He found out after school on that same day. Mark pulled down Donghyuck mask, the younger trapped in his arms.
"Stop! I look ugly!" Donghyuck spoke. There wasn't anything like scars, injuries, or anything. Only Donghyuck's soft skin underneath that mask he's been wearing.
"You... aren't even ugly," Mark spoke, making Donghyuck pause. WHAT?! MARK DENYS THAT I'M UGLY?! Donghyuck thought.
"You are actually quite adorable, why wear this mask," Mark said, his face was close to the younger. Mark's thumb brushed over the side of Donghyuck's lip. Donghyuck stared at the older, he didn't know how to react. Then, he snapped out of it.
"I-I... was bullied before," Donghyuck muttered.
"I don't want to go into detail..." Donghyuck continued with his answer, looking away from Mark's stare. Mark pulled Donghyuck's mask up, smiling.
"I'm sure you won't this time. A lot of people are friendly and nice. How about this, leave your mask at home tomorrow, and be nice to others. Might take some courage, but I'll help," Mark said. (Oh ho ho, what happened to Mark wants revenge?? Suddenly gone.)
Donghyuck became hesitant, but he didn't do anything about it. He nodded and agreed. Mark left the boy alone, returning the next day without his mask, people could barely even recognize him.
His bueatiful plump lips, his adorable soft skin, squishy cheeks, his sun kissed skin. Everyone was shocked to find out that it was that nobody at their school.
"Hey Donghyuck," Mark said, the boy found out his real name, not nickname, was Donghyuck. Donghyuck was shocked, but probably thought that Mark did some digging on him.
"Hi..."Donghyuck softly spoke. Mark gave the boy a warm smile, then his heart began beating rapidly like ocean currents crashing.
"I don't like the way they are looking at me, I'm scared...," Donghyuck said.
"Don't worry, you are fine," Mark said, rubbing Donghyuck's back. It's true, other people stare at him because of how pretty he is without his mask.
