Mark has a fear. He is scared to commit. He is afraid of loving someone only to get heartbroken. It happened once already, but he still has crushed here and there.
There was a particular boy, who also felt the same for Mark.
"So...?" Donghyuck asked.
"I like you also, but... I'm just scared..." Mark muttered.
"Okay! I'll try again next time, whenever you are ready," Donghyuck said with a bright smile. He skipped off, Mark was in utter shock, he smiled. Finally, someone who understands him.

Yes, it took a few months but finally... Mark said yes.
Apparently, Donghyuck did a shit load of research about scared commitment and how people would feel about it. (Me, I'm that bitch.)
It was pretty easy to figure out what Mark was afraid of while being in a relationship, he had trust issues. He was scared, of course. He didn't want to be heartbroken just like his last relationship.
"Mark, how about this, I will stay by your side until you finally trust me. By that, I mean I want to be near you at all times, so when you can let me go to other places by myself, hopefully, you'll trust me where to go," Donghyuck said, he sat the older down for a talk.
"O-Or, let's not do that. I-I think talking is better... They say couples should always communicate, right...?" Mark spoke in a shy tone.
Donghyuck smiled, he liked that better than anything.
"Then, that means you have to tell me all of your problems, we have to get to know one another like a book and we have to put trust in each other. It might be hard, but we'll get through it," Donghyuck said, he made the older smile.
"Thank you..." Mark muttered.
"Hm?" Donghyuck spoke.
"Thank you for waiting for me," Mark said, cupping Donghyuck's face, bringing him into a kiss. Donghyuck smiled, kissing him back.
