Mark dislikes how his long time crush had changed over the years. At first, he was the most humble person ever, but now he is pretty much an arrogant guy, who only cares about himself. Especially when you are his best friend who has to deal with his bullshit.

"Donghyuck, does this look fat on me?" his girlfriend asked. (Not actual girlfriend, it's a female friend because he is openly gay)

"Eh, not really. But, this makes me fatter," Donghyuck said.

"Donghyuck, you look fine. It fits your curves perfectly," She spoke, admiring the beauty's outfit. To be honest, it did.

"But these stretch marks for my thighs are very ugly, I should find a way to remove them," Donghyuck spoke to himself out loud.

"I think you look beautiful the way you are. Stretch marks are normal," she tried to explain.

"Besides, I don't think you can even remove them," Mark butted into the conversation.

"Shut up, you don't know anything. Now, come on Markie, let's go to my favorite makeup store, they are selling a new kind of lip tint," Donghyuck said, dragging his best friend.

"Besides, I need to look perfect, I need to outshine everyone," Donghyuck spoke.

"Hyuck, you already do," Mark said, trying to stop the boy.

"Well, that new bitch is taking over my crown," Donghyuck said. Mark didn't say anything more, following Donghyuck like a dog on its leash following its owner. At least a dog can have a better lifestyle than he is having.

They ended up buying plenty of makeup and going home with Mark carrying all of Donghyuck's shopping bags.

"Does this look good on me?" Donghyuck asked, putting on the new lip tint. Mark nodded, why does Donghyuck need to try so hard, nobody even likes him except very little people. To him, Donghyuck is already enough with and without makeup; with and without wearing fancy or showing clothing. Anything looks fine.

Mark dropped off Donghyuck, helping him take the things inside. Mark sighed, leaving. Shouldn't he just stop being Donghyuck's pet? Like it's very obvious that Donghyuck is using him. But, Mark likes, no, he loves Donghyuck, but Mark doesn't think that Donghyuck would acknowledge it.

"Donghyuck, I don't think I can be your friend if you are being like this," Mark spoke, it caught Donghyuck off-guard.

"Act like what?" Donghyuck asked.

"Act very arrogant, selfish, and self-centered," Mark replied.

"I am not," Donghyuck denied.

"Believe whatever you say, I'm not going to keep this up," Mark said, leaving Donghyuck's house.

"Fine! I can always find someone else better-," Donghyuck spoke, but he got cut off when Mark slammed the door on him.

Mark drove off, letting his tears run down his face. He was finally free but lost his friend and his crush. He should find someone new for once, or try to force himself to stop liking Donghyuck. (One of the worst ways possible, because you'll end up falling for them even more)

The next day...

Mark realized how hard it was not to be next to, talk to, and make Donghyuck laugh or happy. His new lifestyle seemed very open, and very unfamiliar. Donghyuck also had his realizations. He wasn't used to not hearing Mark's voice beside him, complimenting him, and his comfort.

"Hey Mark-," Donghyuck spoke to himself, about to hand his bag to nothing.

"R-right..., "Donghyuck muttered, taking his bag back. Donghyuck had forgotten that Mark isn't there anymore. He felt his heart aching, he didn't know why though. He didn't even realize how special Mark was to him, taking advantage of all the moments they had together.

Donghyuck seemed a bit more depressed lately. He should find another person to replace Mark. Yeah... Maybe...

That next week, he tried. But, they weren't Mark. Some were too rough, some sucked ass. Neither was Mark Lee, who had patience with him. He ended up giving up. But when he saw Mark happier, he didn't know what to do anymore. Give up? Or Change?

Both were hard for Donghyuck. Maybe leaving Mark alone would be good. He can keep his personality. He tried doing that for a week, but he doesn't understand why he can't forget him. Every time he thought of the moments whenever he removed off his makeup and told Mark how ugly he looked, Mark would tell him that he looks pretty either way.

It pained him to know that he couldn't remember every single compliment he received from Mark, he didn't know why. He would frustratingly cry, trying to remember each and even one of them. Maybe he should change. It was his last resort, but he doesn't think it would bring Mark back to him. Mark probably gave him too many chances without knowing. He doesn't want to look like a beggar.

He feels his heart clenching every time he thought of the boy that once cherished him like a diamond ring. Donghyuck began wearing less and less makeup, trying to be a bit nicer to others. And, other people liked it, but then he got used to it. It didn't get Mark back though. He was still on Donghyuck's mind. He was too shy to ask Mark to be his friend again, thinking about it would make him nervous and might break down. Should he build his confidence again and ask him?

People became Donghyuck's friend again, but Donghyuck wasn't always happy when he is with them. Where is Mark when he needs him.

"Guys, tomorrow's hangout at the mall, I'm going to bring a few more friends with us, if that is okay," Jeno said, Donghyuck agreed. What if it's Mark, if Mark's going he might break down, he wasn't ready to talk to Mark yet. But that's a low chance...
