Chapter 8

After Silver's training, he posed me in the front of G.U.N.'s headquarters.

"Thanks Silver... You need to practice a little more on the traffics signs but I will assist you when we'll leave."

"Okay, see you soon then!"

I get out of the car and entered the building.

I've been scared by red lights and saw from the outside military trucks.

"What's happening here?!"

"We found Shadow the hedgehog."

I saw the Commander who was looking at me coldly.

"Miss Rouge, I thought you searched in all the forest..."

"And I did!"

"In that case, explain me how you didn't saw this house with a powerful chaos energy coming from it?!"

He pointed at the screen where we could see Shadow's hide with a special camera where we could see the chaos energy coming from it (A/N:it's like a thermal camera). I couldn't do anything, I had skills to lie but with that, I couldn't deny.

I ran out and flew to Silver who started to go.

"What's wrong?!"

"We need to go get the van. Quickly!"

I then called Sonic, Espio and Tails.

I've been woke up by Sonic who was shaking me.

"hmm.... Sonic...?"

"Shadow, we need to go!"

I looked at him shocked.

He took a bag and put in it everything that I needed like a hoodie, blanket and others things.

"They... They found me...?"

He nodded.

Suddenly, something was thrown from the open window and smoke started to come out of it.

Sonic closed quickly the window and grabbed my arm.

We ran through the house but we had been stopped by some G.U.N.'s soldiers who tried to shoot through the windows.

We hid inside the bathroom, while G.U.N. tried to forced the front door to open.

I was huddled in Sonic's arms who was looking through the window, trying to see the others.

All of that reminded me this day on the ARK....

G.U.N.'s soldiers entered the house and started to search us.

Sonic locked the door and put a fourniture to block it.

"Sonic I'm scared!!"

"I know.... Don't worry, the others will be here in a minute...."

Soldiers started to hit the bathroom door, trying to open it.

I jumped in Sonic's arms and started to cry.

Suddenly, we heard the communicator.

"We're here!!"

"Come under the bathroom window!"

Sonic took my in a bridal style and jumped out of the window.

Rouge grabbed us and posed us on the ground.

The van started to go slowly, taking advance on the soldiers while Sonic was running, still having me in his arms.

Soldiers started to shoot at us and touched Sonic in the arm.

We finally managed to get in the van and the white hedgehog speeded up.

"Sonic are you okay?!"

"Y-yeah *hiss*... I'm fine..."

I looked at the injury, it wasn't so bad but it was enough to worried me.

I grabbed his arm and started to pulled out maximum blood with my mouth so I could remove the bullet. (A/N:like that scene in Princess Mononoke)

When the bullet was removed, I cut my hand a little and put some of my blood inside his arm.

"W-What are you doing?!"

"Trust me, it's for helping you...."

When enough blood went inside the injury, it started to heal.

"Whoa.... That's really impressive..."

I hugged him tightly, still scared.

Suddenly, one of the seats, which was the one with the hide, opened and a pink hedgehog jumped on the blue one, hugging him and making me let go of Sonic.

"Oh my Sonikku! I was so worried about you! I haven't seen you in days!!"

"Amy?! What are you doing here?!! It's dangerous!"

I looked at both of them, Amy kept talking and Sonic tried to comfort him.

I fell a little pinch in the heart.

I hugged Sonic arm with tears in the corner of my eyes, pouncing a little.

Was I jealous of Amy Rose?
