it's all my fault (Sonadow)

Chapter 3

Sonic and I went out of the room, letting Shadow some rest. When we got in the living room, I saw all Sonic's madness.

"how long have you know that he was here?!!"

"Sonic, trust me, I did it for him..."

"I was so worried about him! The gouvernement is worried about him! The PRESIDENT is worried about him!... I'm calling the Commander!"

"No Sonic, please don't do this!!"

"then, give me a reason for!"

I deeply sigh and told him the whole story.

Flashback:

I was on a mission, trying to kill all those black creatures when I saw Shadow, a giant black arm was in front of him and attacking him.

When I saw that he was in difficulty, I called the Commander.

"Sir! I'm asking reform! Shadow is fighting with one the creature and he is in difficulty!"

"I refuse."

"W-What? But... Command-"

"he's with those creatures. He doesn't deserve our help."

With that, he stopped the conversation.

Later, at G.U.N. headquarters, I surprised a conversation of the Commander and one of the soldiers.

"but sir... The soldiers who came back said that Shadow was ATTACKING the black arms... He is with us!"

"it's just a comedy! In any second, he could attack the town or the president! I gave you one last chance to kill him... If you don't, I'll kill him myself!"

When I heard that, I quickly went to Shadow and tell him everything.

Since he was about to defeat Black Doom, I went through the forest and found that little house. Shadow was living with me but after what I've heard, it was too much risky for him to be with me. So with some friends of mine, we put in all he needed.

End of the flashback.

".... And it's been now a month that he is hiding here... So please Sonic... Don't tell anyone, he's life is in danger! "

There was a long moment of silence between the two. It was interrupt by the sound of a communicator.

"Agent to Sonic, have you found the black hedgehog?"

The bat looked at the hedgehog with pleading eyes and whispered.

"Please... For Shadow...."

"..... No, I haven't found him. We stop for today."

"Alright, the Commander ordered us to search him tomorrow at 09:00 a.m., we can all go back to Central City."

All the communications stopped.

Rouge and Sonic started to argue, defending there ideas; the bat wanted Shadow to stay hide until she finds a way to change the mind of the Commander, while the hedgehog wanted Shadow to quit the state or even the country to protect him from the gouvernement.

They stopped when they heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

"Why are you arguing....?"

"Sorry, we woke you up Shadz..."

"It's okay Sonic....."

Sonic knew that if he wasn't called 'faker' or 'blue hedgehog' then Shadow was really bad.

The ebony one sat on a chair, staring at them with eyes still dull.

"Are you arguing..... Because of me....?

"Not because of you.... We're arguing to protect you Shadow...."

The ibryde hedgehog/alien looked down.

"Why would you protect me....? I'm just a lab rat....."

The blue one kneeled and petted his head.

"You're not a lab rat Shadow.... You're a leaving been.... An hedgehog...."

The black hedgehog started to sob and soon, cry.

"I'm not an hedgehog.... I'm an alien.... A monster....."

Sonic searched an idea to make Shadow feel better. An idea popped in his head.

"Shadow.... Do you know why you were created?"

".... I am just a weapon, created for Black Doom..... Just a chaotic body for destroying the world...."

"....... You're wrong....."

The stripped hedgehog looked at him with surprise.

"You were created for this world.... Yeah, at first Gerald Robotnik wanted to cure Maria by your help but.... She showed you how much the Earth was so beautiful that he wanted you to be on Earth...."

"B-but the Earth doesn't want me! Everything is against me! Everything hate me!"

"This is what you think. You stopped the Eclipse Cannon twice. You're an hero for the Earth. The Earth wants you. And she needs you....."

Shadow was completely lost. He was touched by Sonic's words. He threw himself into the blue one's chest and whispered.

"Thank you...."

The blue hedgehog hugged the black one and mentally added to his sentence.

'And I need you...'
