Chapter 9

Day one on the road, 11:30 p.m.:

We were on the road for two hours, Espio was talking to me but I wasn't listening. I was too much preoccupied by Amy who was still hugging Sonic.

We had to take her with us, or G.U.N. would have questioned her.

I wanted to be in Sonic arms, to have his attention. I started to slowly approach him and then let myself fall slowly on Sonic's laps and pretend to sleep.

I felt Sonic stroking my hear and quills.

Sonic:"Well, looks like your boring stories when you were in Japan make him sleepy!"

Espio:"Of course they are boring, there's Vector in it!"

Everyone started to laugh except me and Silver, who didn't know Vector.

It was mean for Vector... Telling that a story is boring because he in it and laughing at it! That was horrible!

Amy:"Oh Sonikku! I'm sure that this road trip will be amazing!"

Rouge:"Amy, for the last time, it's not a road trip...."

"Of course it is! A little van, no electronics things, just enough money, we're taking smole road... That's a road trip!"

Tails (A/N:btw, he isn't in the van, he's talking through a computer because Sonic thought that it was too dangerous for him) :"But we aren't doing that to discover new places and doing camping! We are doing this for Shadow to not be captured by G.U.N.!"

Amy:"Pfff... But there is so much romantic places to see..."

Right now, I want to chaos control her away from me and Sonic. Why when I first met her she reminded me Maria?! She got nothing with her right now!

Silver:"I'm sure that Sonic will be pleased to have a romantic road trip with only you after that Shadow is on Angel Island!"

Rouge:"*whispering* And after some years of prison because we're expatriating a guy who is searched by the government..."

First day on the road, 2:28 a.m.:

When it get really dark, Silver stopped and they decided to go to sleep.

Amy:"I want to sleep with you my Sonikku!"

Sonic:"Sorry Amy but it looks like Shadow doesn't want to release me..."

Sonic was laid down with Shadow on top of him, hugging him.

Actually, Shadow wasn't sleeping once again, and we could see a little satisfaction smile when Amy understood that 'her Sonikku' was already taken for the night.

Been in Sonic's arms reminded him how he was sleeping with Maria after one crisis because of her sickness.

Everyone laid down (Silver Amy, Sonic and Shadow on the van's benches, Espio on a smole japanese futon and Rouge was hooked up to the roof (A/N:idk why but I thought that cute))

Rouge:" 'night guys!"

And then everyone fell asleep.

In G.U.N.'s headquarter:

I couldn't believe it! Sonic the hedgehog, the hero of the entire world, and Rouge, my best agent, were protecting that.... Monster?!

I need to find him quickly before we completely lose him!

I never thought that I would do an alliance with him but...

"Call the doctor Robotnik!"

Minutes later, the evil doctor showed up on the screen.

"Why are interrupting my sleep?!"

"I'm sorry to call so late, but we need to talk!"

"Talking?! About what?"

".....I have a certain pest to exterminate... "

"You're talking about Shadow, right?"

"Yes!"

"Commander, I see that we're not so different..."

"Don't compared me to you! Let make this quick, I want you to use your robots to find Shadow the hedgehog!"

"And what do I win for that...?"

"The plan of the most powerful machines of G.U.N.!"

"Meh. Not enough. When you find my a better prize, call me again!"

"W-wait!"

I started to think quickly but there was only one idea who could pleased the doctor.

"What about... Sonic's life?"

He looked at me, shocked.

"He is right now with Shadow, so if you find the black hedgehog, you'll find the blue hedgehog in the same time.... Deal?"

Robotnik stayed silent for minutes.

"Deal, Commander..."
