Instantly I regretted going in.

But it was too late.

Because the second I came two steps in, I had a sick feeling in the bottom of my stomach, making me turn right back around, to head back to The Doctor.

And that was the problem.

I didn't have the slightest clue where I was.

Which was extremely weird, considering the fact that I only took two steps in the forest. It didn't make sense.

"Hello? Where are you?" I hear, and try to scope out where the voice is coming from, but its almost impossible. I can't try to see who it is either, since the fog was really thick. I couldn't see a thing if I tried. only the figure of some long trees with branches that looked like they were reaching out for you. And it didn't look very welcoming.

"Hello?" I whisper, although I tried to actually project my voice. I really did.

Then the little girl's voice starts to cry out about how she doesn't want to play this game, and knowing I don't have another option besides standing by the trees that look like they might grasp me, and the fog that no light could shine through, I decide to follow the voice.

Maybe the girl's voice can lead me out of this fog.

Finally I reach the voice, or what seems to be where it lead me.

I'm no longer in the thick fog, that for sure. There are a bunch of trees circling around a wooden shack, and he fog has thinned to where I can see through it, yet it still radiates an eerie look, that gives me chills if I think about it a second too long.

Then, before i make myself turn back around and find a way out, i hear a sort of snapping.

"Hello?" I ask, no longer scared.

It's not a scary movie if the character isn't scared, right?

At first, its completely silent.

Then a small head with once-bright, knotted red hair popped from behind the tree, and I knew I wasn't alone.

"Hey, you can come out now. It's fine." I tell the girl, as she slowly stops hiding, and comes out, letting me see a full view.

The girl was about 7, that was for sure. She had shoulder length wild raspberry colored hair, although I can bet if she washed it, it would be silky and shiny.

She had a knee length white dress, that looked like it had been soaked in mud then dried in dirt. Twice. Along with the rest of her body. The only thing standing out on her face were her shimmering emerald eyes, that you could get lost in if you stared too long.

"Do you know where my mommy is?" She asks, her voice soft and high pitched.

As if on cue, I hear the yell.

"Hello? Where are you?"

I wait for the girl's reaction, for her to jump up, and yell that she was here.

But she didn't.

Instead, she stared at me with a solid face, waiting for me to reply.

"Didn't you here her?"

She shakes her head.

"I shouldn't have listened to Danny. He says all his games are fun. Now I'm lost." Suddenly, the girl's face lightens. "Can you help me out of here? Please?"

I nod, taking a deep breath.

"Yeah." I slowly say, desperately wanting to add "If I can get myself out."
