Gone.

It was so, weird.

Great way to describe it, I know, pat me on the back later. But in half a second, Mia was gone. The Doctor said she was gone the whole time, which is why two angels were here. But no matter how convincing he was, I couldn't believe it.

Otherwise, how come she still had the "Caught" label on her. She should have had "Reached" or something. I dunno.

I asked The Doctor this, and he shrugged, as if he was pondering the question himself. I asked him how come she disappeared when she covered her eyes, which he also shrugged to.

"It doesn't make sense! The angels were with me, and all she did was-" I start, but stop, realizing the end of my sentence.
Stared at a painting. The painting must have had an Angel on it. That's why Aurora was staring at it so seriously.

"Oh." I finally sputter out, after a long period of time.
the rest of the time was silent, or at least I thought it was. I stayed quite for the most part, while The Doctor sonic screwdriver-ed the whole place.

And when he stopped, he had a lot of answers.

"Okay, Miss.Smith, I finally have some answers. First off, she was controlled by the Angels. For the most part. Meaning? That she had hope. She had hope that we would save her. And she had so much the Angels couldn't pull her away completely. Which is why she was labeled 'caught' instead of 'reached'. The Angels were supposed to only have kept the begging part, but Mia, both of them, only have a small slither of that in themselves. They barely beg. And since the Angels needed something stronger, they snatched her hope. Big. Mistake. She pulled through. However, when she realized that neither of us could save her, the hope was drained. Given to the Angels. And so she blinked."

I stumble back, surprised. It made so much sense. I stare at The Doctor's accomplished face, until his eyes widen, and his jaw drops.

"The hope that they fed from her. It was so strong. They'd have to come back for more. But the only other person that has the same hope as Mia, is herself."

"Oh my God. My Mia. Their coming for my Mia?! We have to save her!" I holler, and jump up.

Thankfully The Doctor doesn't refuse, and rushes into the TARDIS as I shadow him. This couldn't be happening.

I have to be honest. When I sprinted into the TARDIS, I expected to find a dead Mia sprawled onto the floor. Nah, that's not what I get. When I open the TARDIS, I see Mia sitting on the railings, her face covered in Cheeto powder. Seriously. And as me and The Doctor are both dead silent, Mia goes into her bag, grabs another puffy chip, and pops it into her mouth, crunching slowly, but extremely loud.

Instantly, when she sees us, her eyes widen, and she jumps of the bars, holding the bag.

"Oh my God- I'm such an idiot. I- I-" she starts, and I expect an apology coming out of her mouth. Instead, she raises the bag, and continues her sentence. "-forgot to ask if you wanted one."

If I wasn't shocked enough, now would be the time.

"Mia?" I say with a tight grin, clasping my hands together as she nods. "How about, you drop the Cheeto bag, and wipe your face."

Just why I think she'll give up, and turn around to rinse off all the powder, she sighs, bends down slowly, and grabs. Another. Cheeto. Real slow too. Then, with her loud, intimidating crunches, she turns around, and slowly walks to wherever the bathroom might be.

I turn to look at The Doctor's confused face, and shake my head. "Welcome to what I have to deal with. Daily."

We sit there in silence until Ms.To Good For You comes back, and when she does, her eyebrows are scrunched up, and her head tilted.

"What, the Cheetos started talking to you?" I joke, but when I don't see her face lighten, I instantly shut up.

"Why would you do that?" She asks, her voice whimpering, and her eyes watery.

"Do what?" I ask, although I know it won't come out of her mouth. I'm surprised her first sentence came out. When Mia's hurt, she doesn't talk. At all. Like last year, when she found out her sister, Audrey, had cancer, she didn't talk for three months. It was even worse when she found out that Audrey didn't make it.

I'll be honest, Audrey was the funniest, sweetest girl ever. She could brighten your day in a second. I cried a little too much, but nothing compared to the Barrett family. They drowned in tears. Somehow, Mia kinda sorta got of her, although if you mention her, she'll throw you off a cliff, bring you back up, and throw you again.

But the one that I was looking at, all she had was pure pain in her eyes.

And that's when I realized what had happened.

"The Nightmares." I say, and before I finish my sentence, Mia rushes out of the area.

"They've started tormenting Mia."
