"Oswin Oswald, at your service." Mia says, and bows, holding the paper.
"Can you just not?" I ask, annoyed. For the past 10 minutes, Mia has been playing with the physic paper like it was all she had.
"I dunno," Mia starts, lowering her glasses like Ms.Jefferson would. "Can I?"
I was going to grill her.
"Oi! Be careful!" The Doctor says when he sees Mia on top of the warehouse.
Wait, how did she get on top of the warehouse?!
"MIA!! GET DOWN HERE NOW!!"
Mia just waves me off and rolls her eyes. "Yes, Mom."
What would I do without Mia.
Finally, when she's off of the building, we all sit down, trying to calm ourselves.
"X equals 27!" I hear, and shake my head. It was probably some kids walking along.
"Oh great. I'm back. I was expecting some excitement though. I come back to you guys trying to summon Shrek. Terrific."
I come out of my meditating pose to see the girl with the sharp brown eyes that shined in the fall in the distance. There was something about her that just made you feel calmer. I couldn't imagine freaking out beside her.
"Hey, Math Class girl!" I yell, motioning her to come over. As she does, I notice her dark blue shirt with the words "CINNA TOLD ME TO WEAR THIS" in bold.
"What, no more summoning? Ugh, I was about to go transport back to get my shrine." She tells me, and I have a feeling that she wasn't joking.
Before I can reply, Mia cuts in. "Hey, you're the hocus pocus girl!"
The obvious Hunger Games fan rolls her eyes. "If that's who I am. But if you would like to know, it's pronounced 'Nadali'."
Mia raises her eyebrows, enlightened by Nadali. They were getting along.
"So basically, I need serious help. I'm poofing 24/7. Not that I don't mind ditching math, but I poofed in a museum. With all these ugly statues. Of course my first instinct was 'AHH WEEPING ANGELS, NADALI MOVE YOUR BOOTY OUT OF HERE!!' But I then remembered that my marathon did no good to my brain, and start to watch the statues. There were two though that really looked like they were from the set of this show called Doctor Who. By the way, does anyone else feel fuzzy? Or is that just my magical self?"
This chick was interesting.
"I actually kinda do." Mia states, rubbing her temples.
I turn to look at The Doctor, confused like me. I start to walk over to him when I hear my washing machine act up again.
But once again, I heard wrong.
The TARDIS starts to dematerialize right before my eyes, and The Doctor jumps up, his face in awe.
"No, no no no no no no!" He howls, taking out his screwdriver to do whatever with it.
"What's going on!?" Mia asks, while Nadali gasps.
"Is that the- with the- and you guys-" she stutters, and I hush her with a single nod.
And just then, the sound stops.
And the TARDIS is gone.
-------
"Any ideas? From anyone? Even you, hocus pocus." Mia says, deflated.
"Both of you. That feeling. Where is it?" The Doctor asks to both Nadali and Mia.
"My head." They both answer at the same time, and I fiddle with my necklace.
"BINGO!" The Doctor says, and turns to Nadali. "Where were you last?"
"Math class. Glad to see you've been paying attention."
And with that, The Doctor pulls out his weird mechanism and points it at her.
"Check now."
With the blink of an eye, Nadali disappeared.
"What did you do to her?!" I ask, terrified.
I freak out even more when he looks at his creation, and answers.
"No idea."
