Ten minutes.

It took ten minutes for Nadali to come back.

And when she did, she made a great impression.

"GET ME OUT OF HERE! PLEASE, I BEG YOU, PLEASE. I WANT TO GO BACK HOME. I DONT WANT TO DIE. PLEASE! DOCTOR, ZAP ME AGAIN, I BEG OF YOU. TAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT, JUST LET ME BACK HOME. PLEASE! I WANT TO SEE MY BROTHER AGAIN. I WANT TO GO BACK. LET ME GO BACK!"

Nadali was on her knees crying, her whole body shaking and her face puffy.

"What happened to her." Mia sort of asks, although she's in complete shock. I can see that she's starting to get scared herself, as she bends down to Nadali's level, comforting her.

"Someone, or thing. They're making people from a different dimension sometimes come here. But they aren't just dropping them in..." The Doctor starts, and I start to tear up unintentionally, from the loud sobs coming out of Nadali.

"I was in a hospital room!" She screams between breaths. "They SAID I PASSED OUT. THAT I CANT GO BACK TO SLEEP AGAIN. SOMETHING WOULD HAPPEN. PLEASE, IM BEGGING YOU. LET ME GO BACK. IM DYING AS WE SPEAK. WHERE IS YOUR MERCY?!"

"LET HER GO BACK!" I find myself screaming. I couldn't take it anymore. She was in so much misery. I didn't care if I barely knew her.

"D- did she say dying?" Mia whispers.

"All of you need to find the fastest way to wake up. Realize it's a dream. Do something. Both of you are dying. You're in a slumber. To anyone else, you look like normal, sleeping people. Nadali was lucky. She was watched, and rushed to the hospital. Whatever you guys do now, in this dimension, effects what happens to you in the other one. Which means, don't sleep. Because how do you wake up by sleeping? You don't. Nadali, I'm so, so sorry. But the only way I can send you back is if the 'obstacle' is completed. And by the looks of it, that means getting rid of the two angels."

"Oh my God... I'm dying right now. And no one knows." Mia covers her mouth as tears form in her eyes. What would her parents do, with both of their children, gone?

"What about me??" I ask, afraid of the answer. I caused all of this. The Nightmares, they aren't real. All they are, is a nightmare.

One of the glitches.

I remember London saying something about the defaults. I didn't know they would be severe. That's why when The Doctor answers me, I'm not surprised.

"That's the thing. You chose to come here. The others were dragged in."

"I- it's your fault?" Nadali asks, broken-hearted.

"No. I mean- I-"

"Doesn't matter. We have to hurry. Where's this cliff you were talking about. We need to get there by 5:44 PM. sharp. There's a fixed point at that exact time that we need to create, otherwise no one will make it out." The Doctor cuts in. He was right. We needed to hurry.

And fast.

"What are we waiting for?! I want to go home, and I don't see shiny red shoes to tap and POOF, I'm home. Let's take this fixed point and throw it off the buggin cliff." Nadali says, getting up and wiping her tears.
Mia follows her.

"I'm in." She says, and I nod. We had to hurry.

----

3:27 PM. At least, that's what Nadali's TARDIS watch said. We were so close to the cliff. We'd be there by five, The Doctor said.

Something didn't feel right.

Finally, we could see the outline of the cliff. I tell Mia to stop the car we rented, thanks to the fake ID. As I step out, The Doctor shakes his head.

"We have to go. Now. If we want to make it and cause the fixed point, we have to go."

"What if we don't go?! I snap, and although I didn't mean it, I stayed with an angered facial expression.

"Then you can't get your friends free."

"And if we do? What happens then? Cause and effect, right? What's the effect?"

"Listen, all I know is that I have to make sure this happens. If you don't walk to tag along, you can leave."

"ENOUGH!" Mia yells onto of all of our voices, and shakes her head. "Let's just go."

I nod, as all three of us walk back into the car, and we stay silent while Mia drives. I noticed a lot of things in the silence we had. Like how Mia was surprisingly a great driver. And how The Doctor kept biting his lip and fidgeting. And how Nadali's eyes were still red.

Finally we reach the cliff, and what do you know, it's 4:39.

"Now what?" I ask, looking at the cliff towering over me.

"Now we climb." The Doctor says.
