His vision was full of darkness. He saw nothing but a patch of blackness, stretching far and far over the horizon. His arms flailed, but he couldn't even see what he was trying to reach.

Shoto remembered this. He knew this feeling of helplessness.

He wanted to get out but he couldn't propel himself out. Nobody was there to help him.

Why had it come back? He thought he had gotten rid of it

Why had it come back? He thought he had gotten rid of it. He couldn't recall what had happened that put him into this black hole again. The light was swallowed and he was going to disappear into this void.

Some bells rang. A voice echoed around him. "Is something wrong, Shoto? You don't seem fine."

He couldn't make out whose voice it belonged to. The voice seemed to bounce. He wanted to reach out.

Again, the voice talked. "Stop the fight! Ms. Midnight, we need to retrieve Shoto from the battlefield."

It was not conversing with him. He really wanted to know the owner of the voice. The concern that was apparent in her voice; it had been long since he felt that someone was looking out for him.

Who was it? He needed answers.

Somewhere in another realm, Momo was trying to push away the crowd that was assembled in front of the health room. These girls that were getting in her way was really getting on Momo's nerves.

Yes, lots of juniors had a crush on Shoto, but they shouldn't waste their lunchtime to stalk on a sick person.

She was sinking between the people. When she was starting to boil with frustration, Iida appeared behind her and asked the crowd to part ways.

Iida's height and masculine voice were proven to gain the girl's attention. When Momo thanked him for his help, the crowd murmured Momo's name multiple times.

"Is that Momo Yaoyorozu?"

"Dang it. She's really pretty. No wonder."

"She's nothing compared to me. I can do a better job than that."

She was sure of it. These were his fan-girls. He gained more after the second year sports festival. They must have heard it from Ms. Midnight when she was teaching their class that Shoto passed out during combat training.

She walked inside, surprised to find two young nurses instead of Recovery Girl. They were two interns that were put to work under the wing of Recovery Girl when she was summoned for a mission.

Although Momo came bearing soup and some snacks for Shoto during lunch break, they didn't seem happy to see her.

They insisted for Momo to leave it there since Shoto was still unconscious. She agreed, but she used the remaining twenty minutes sitting beside his bed, just gazing at his pale face.
