Most people believe that a man's mind will be tainted with thoughts of their upcoming wedding night.

Wrong!

Men worry about other things too, like the reception, the food and the people coming.

Momo and Shoto decided to have a traditional Japanese wedding for the official ceremony. Although the Yaoyorozu family preferred a grand Western-style reception, they had chosen something simpler instead.

Probably something more meaningful.

A few days before the ceremony, the guests that they had invited, mostly people who were close to them, such as some family members, former class A students of their batch and of course, the staff who were involved, were assembling together.

These family members and friends, alongside with Momo and Shoto were spending the nights in a ryokan, a traditional Japanese inn. The Yaoyorozu company sponsored the stay of all the guests.

They didn't hire much workers to keep the wedding clandestine and away from the media. The guests were pretty much involved with the preparations too.

That was why Shoto wasn't focused on the unnecessary things.

He watched how hard Momo worked for the wedding day, even though it was basically also his. The fact that most burden was taken by women, he realized that he wanted to help too.

As she was greeting all the guests that were coming, bringing them to the assigned rooms and explaining to them the directory of the ryokan, Shoto could see that she was going to get exhausted even before the day ended.

As always, at times, Momo didn't know when to ask for a favour.

That made Shoto really frustrated. He wanted her to depend on him, even a little.

She came back to the large entrance hall while fanning her face, an indication that her energy was depleting.

She was pushing a cart of food. She wanted to bring them to the people who were hanging up the decorations.

"Momo."

She turned and wiped the sweat from her temples. "Oh, Shoto. I'm just about to bring these desserts out."

Momo fixed her hair from a ponytail to a bun, letting her become nimbler to work. Shoto knew that this woman would try to make everything perfect to the point of ignoring her own needs.

"What's wrong?" Momo asked, putting her fingers to her chin.

Shoto sighed. "I just don't like it when you work too hard."

"Oh? This is nothing unusual for me."

"But Momo-"

When Shoto was about to ask Momo if he could help, the still number one hero, Endeavor, stomped into the ryokan, although his usual flames were not present.

As he saw his son, he shouted, "SHOTOOOOOOOOOO!"

His loud voice made some kids, respectively Fuyumi's daughter and Momo's cousins, hide behind her and Shoto's legs.

"Mr. Todoroki, please do not scare off the kids," Momo advised him.

Momo might have showed a sweet smile, but only Shoto could see underneath her facade that she was being cautious with Endeavor.

Well, that should be normal. He hurt Shoto.
