In one particular daycare, there were two extraordinary children that would catch the attention of anyone who was present.

One was a timid little red-haired boy named Takeo, who despite carrying the name of a warrior, loved to sit alone in the corner of the room and read any picture books from the shelves he could find.

Another was named Takumi, a white-haired boy who bore the name of an artisan, who was also the complete opposite to Takeo. He preferred to group with his other friends, drawing their favourite heroes after seeing them on the television.

However, as twins, they had their ways of not parting with each other. Takumi had a habit of pulling his brother with him whenever he was excited. Takeo who wanted to be isolated, would surprisingly not protest.

Takumi talked all the time while Takeo would only repeat a bit of his sentence.

Nonetheless, anyone could see that they were an inseparable pair, even though they had different hair colours and personalities.

"Takeo, Takeo! Look! I drew my favourite hero!" Takumi shouted as he ran to his twin brother, displaying the crayon-stained paper.

Takeo tilted his chin up, nodded and continued paying attention to his book.

"Hey, hey. Who's your favourite hero, Takeo?" the boy asked, shoving his drawing in Takeo's face.

He shook his head, putting on a blank expression. The other boy was shocked upon knowing his brother wasn't interested.

Takumi tugged on his brother's hand and dragged him towards the other kids. "Draw with me, Takeo! You can add your hero beside mine," the boy said eagerly.

Takeo, who was a shy boy, agreed and began taking some colour pencils into his hand. He traced the lines of the hero and when he was done, he claimed, "Mama."

The babysitter who watched them the whole time had a slight smile on her face, intrigued with the two boys.

Takeo drew a woman with a red outfit and a spiky ponytail while Takumi smeared the head of his favourite hero with white and red.

They drew their own parents.

When Takumi saw his brother's drawing, although in comparison to Takeo, he didn't know he drew his actual parents, had him exclaiming in response.

"Pretty, pretty! Plus ultra!"

Takeo repeated timidly, "Pwetty."

They continued drawing and playing in the middle of the room, Takumi casually blabbering gibberish words and Takeo just repeated whatever his brother had said.

Until the evening, their father made an appearance to bring them home. When Shoto stepped into the daycare in his usual civilian outfit, the boys ran to him and hugged his legs.
