Chapter 17

  °°Emilio P.O.V°°

  This isn't right. I want our mate. Ugh my wolf was so annoying. Bruno she is gone I already rejected her. We have a new mate. She is more perfect for us. My wolf howled. No one can replace her. She is our soulmate. You destroyed our perfect beautiful mate. You're selfish. I rolled my eyes. Perfect? Perfect? She was ugly nothing like my Sophie. She was plain, she wasn't perfect. She disgusted me. You will see when I mate with Sophie, you will see. Turning off the interstate I looked in the rearview mirror, How long has that car been following us?

  Pulling up to the hotel parking lot I parked the truck. I could tell Alonzo had been trying to contact me but I blocked him. He has been trying to stop me since the beginning. He hasn't found his mate so he doesn't know how it feels. The desperation to be near her. To have her in your arms, just a kiss drives me crazy. I need Sophie.

  I watched the car park down the parking lot. 3 guys military haircuts? I should dispose of them and keep driving. I'm in Nebraska now. That stupid old man sent her to Wyoming. Thinking they could keep me away from whats mine. I heard Sophie's aunt move around in the backseat. I looked back, making sure she was still tied up and gagged. I wish I could just kill her already. I would make it quick and painless but I needed her to get Sophie.

  Sophie doesn't want us. She has found her mate. You can't fight your destiny. We are not meant to fight it. You are going against nature, Emiliano. I hit the stearing wheel bending it. Don't ever say that. She is mine. Do you hear me she is mine. I turned the truck back on and backed up driving by the car I could see they were on the phone. The one in the back seat was watching us drive by. I waited and sure enough they backed out and started following me again. Stupid men. Time to take care of this problem.

°°Alpha Terence P.O.V°°

  Arrogant bastard! Alpha we just arrived and boy will I be glad to never see this wanna be Alpha again. I'm no bell hop! I couldn't help but chuckle. Jonathan, he can't be that bad? He is probably upset about being so far away from home. The office door slammed open as Alpha Alonzo walked in unannounced. Jonathan was following behind carrying a few bags. He put the luggage by the door and walked out clearly pissed.

  I'm going for a run, don't contact me to help him. I laughed again, Jonathan you're over-reacting. He is here to help. Jonathan must have shifted because the mind link was blocked. I could have continued talking to him but I already knew how Jonathans little moods went. I focused on this Alpha who had his nose up looking at my books. I wonder if he ascended he still looks like a young pup.

  "Alonzo, I have heard from the humans they are in Nebraska. I guess he doesn't know Sophie is here with her mate." I had my hand out to shake hands with Alonzo. When it was clear that he wasn't going to shake my hand I pulled it back. "I don't understand why Emilio is stuck on a nobody. He is better off using her body then trying to make her his mate."

  I growled at him, "No woman should be someones sex slave. No woman should be forced to be with someone." He rolled his eyes at me. "Yes, yes Alpha's and Beta's daughters are the exception. That girl is a omega practically dirt beneath my shoes. Nice body though, I wouldn't mind having a few rounds with her." Disgusting s.o.b before I could say anything Alonzo was on the wall with his feet dangling. "Rick! Let the bastard go he isn't worth a war."

  I walked towards Rick. I was watching Alonzo's face turn red then a little blue, I put my hand on Ricks shoulder. "He isn't worth it." Rick looked at me his eyes were black. He deserves this and more. He isn't a man not a real one in my book. I exhaled, "I know but if you kill him then you would have broken our treaty and started a war with all the packs that have alliances with his pack." Now release him and go for a run. Go hunt or something.

  Rick dropped Alonzo and walked off. Alonzo was spluttering, "I want him punished. How dare he put his hands on a Alpha." I rolled my eyes. "He didn't leave a scratch you will live. Believe me if he wanted to kill you, you'd be dead. Now we have no time for this we need to find Emilio and fast." I walked back behind my desk. Alonzo slammed his hands on the desk, "So your saying it was ok to insult me like that. You let your pack members attack an Alpha visiting. I should call off the treaty and allow my pack to rip yours apart."

  That's it I jumped over the desk and grabbed his neck. I could see the fear in his eyes, pathetic. "You can do that but I promise you, before your pack mates arrive you will be torn to pieces. I take pride in what he did, woman are not objects and should never be treated like that. That was his sister in law you insulted. You should be relieved it wasn't his brother. Now I'm going to let you go and we are going to talk about getting Rebecca back from that lunatic, you call a Beta. Do I make myself clear." I knew we have made a enemy of Alonzo but he knew better than to mess with us.

  He shook his head in understanding. I let him go and he fell to the ground gasping for air. "Yes let's get this over with." He gritted out.
