Running always helped me think. Just the wind running through my fur is enough to calm me but not this time. This time nothing could stop the hate running through my blood. The hurt of rejection. He was mine, that bitch just waltzed in and took him from me. That guinea bitch, who the hell did she think she was?
Seeing the clearing up ahead I slowed and shifted. I put on some shorts and a tank top. I had the perfect body, full breast, flat stomach, hips thighs and ass. Legs that were muscular and went on for miles and still I wasn't good enough for him. He was my first I was his. My first in a lot of things. He knew I loved him, he knew I gave him my heart a long time ago.
I fell to my knees, my heart breaking as memories flooded behind my eyes. Our first kiss, we were both so nervous, right here at this clearing. The night I caught him watching me at the lake swimming. That was our first time, it was clumsy and quick but we learned together what we liked and didn't like.
Snap...
I whipped my head to the sound of the twig snapping. I growled as a warning. I sniffed the air, it wasn't a pack memeber. Growling again as a figure came out of the woods. "Must be my lucky day running into a bella bambola."
The man said.
"Yea? What's that supposed to mean?" I said. I looked around made sure he was alone. That's one thing I don't need is to be jumped or caught off guard again. "Beautiful doll. What are you doing here? I'm supposed to meet my mate and Alpha."
"Mate?" Alpha? Could he be why she is here? Why my world turned upside down? "You're talking about the Italian chick at the house?" He watched me as if sizing me up. "Yes, my Sophie. How is she?" His eyes were souless. That's the only word I can describe it. It was like looking into the dark dark hole. I shuddered, the hairs on the back of my neck had risen up. Goosebumps covered my arms and legs. I should run get as far away from him as I could, but he wanted her.
"Ruining everything." I answered. His eyes narrowed watching me with his cold souless eyes. I cringed as I heard his bark of laughter. "Yes, I'm sure she is. She was always a rebel and a tease. They say she has found her mate? Is it true? Do you know him?"
Do I know him? I know everything about him. I know his favorite foods, music, movies and his likes in the bedroom. Do I know him? "Yes, I know him." Stupid, stupid, why did I just say that? Because you love him and if this man takes her away you will be there to pick up the pieces. He will see how much you care for him and take you back."Aww lost love. My name is Emiliano but you can call me Emilio." He smiled. That smile never reaching his cold hazel eyes. At least they weren't black anymore. Lost love? "Stacy, Stacy Burks."
