I wake up with a smile on my lips. I feel the same joy every time I remember what happened last night. Everything is surreal, I can't even sleep because of the thought that we kissed. Melody and I had an agenda last night.
I know the past few days have not been easy for the two of us so at least I was reassured by her answers last night.
"Gabi na, delikadong umuwi mag isa hayaan mong ihatid kita."
Kakatapos lang ng concert at ang lahat ng estudyante ay nag uuwian na. Naging matagumpay ang gabing ito para sa music club dahil kaliwa't kanan ngayon ang mga papuri sa kanila. Madaming tiga ibang university din ang nakadalo dahil open gate, paniguradong mauulit muling ito.
"Ahhh hindi na Troye! Walking distance lang naman kami dito kaya kaya ko na mag isa," she refused.
"Then let me go and walk with you. It is not a question actually, lets go!" I held out her hand and started walking.
Iniwan ko muna ang sasakyan ko pansamantala, babalikan ko na lang ito after kong maihatid si Melody. I wanna spend this night with her. Gusto kong matapos ang araw na ito nang magkasama kami, gusto kong matapos ang araw na ito nang wala ng mga tanong tumatakbo sa aking isipan. I want her to not forget this night.
"Pasensya na pala kung hindi ako nakapunta kagabi sa bar." I started as we continue walking.
"Hmmm you don't have to! Naiintindihan kong kailangan mo ding mag focus sa school." She turned her face on me and plaster a smile on it.
Oh come on Melody! Stop this shit please! It's not helping for me and my heart.
"And besides, nag duet lang naman kami buong gabi ni Steven. Sayang nga lang at hindi mo kami napanood, I'm pretty sure magugustuhan mo yung mga kinanta namin kagabi."
Steven? Yeah right! The new guy in that bar. Could you please stop mentioning his name Melody, you're spoiling our wondrous night.
"Really? it must be a great night isn't it?" I am trying to not sound sarcastic but I can't.
"It is! Breaking record yung dami ng costumer na pumunta kagabi! Sayang nga lang at wala ka."
I just kept quiet after she spoke. I do not want to speak 'cause it might change or worsen than that, it might ruin this night.
We kept walking until we got to the road where I often took her. I knew it was up to this point so I stopped.
"Salamat sa paghatid Troye, salamat sa gabing ito."
I am just stairing at her eyes as I noticed that she is puzzled out. We're both puzzled out actually, 'cause I want to clarify something from her, I need an answer from her, I need her words right now.
"Mauna na ko Troye—"
"Wait!" I grabbed her hand to stop her in walking away from me.
From the day we kissed in my condo unit, the nights weren't easy for me. I often get bored and can't sleep thinking what we are and why did you kissed me? I know the days are going too fast for us but I want to be sure what it really is.
"Ahmmm Melody... about us... I just wanna—"
"You are my favorite person Troye." She cupped my face with her hands. "I am happy to be with you, I enjoyed talking with you, I meant those kiss Troye. I meant it."
What do you mean? What are you trying to say? You're making me dumb right now. Could you please be straight! I am confused.
"Mauna na ko Troye! Ingat ka sa pag uwi!"
