Chapter 9

Everything has stop when our eyes met. I am seeing the sadness on it and that was causing me confusion. Just give me goddamn answer Melody 'cause right now, you're driving me crazy.

"This is the last song for this night and I dedicated it to the person who makes me feel special." She then looked at me. "The person that I might say worthy of my own playlist in life." She take her eyes off of me.

My heart stopped beating for a seconds. I was suddenly overwhelmed by the words I had heard from her. The confusion on me has arisen again. I know that it is so wrong to assume something from her words 'cause it might add conflict matters in the scene but our eyes never lie. She might not mentioned my name but I knew and I am feeling it that she is talking to me.

"I remember the times we spent together on those drives... We had a million questions all about our lives..."

Biglang natahimik ang lahat nang simulan niya nang kantahin ang isang pamilyar na kanta. Madalas ko 'tong napakikinggan na kinakanta ng mga bandang napapanood ko pero ngayon hindi ko alam kung bakit parang nag iba ang epekto nito sa akin.

"And when we got to New York everything felt right...
I wish you were here with me tonight..." She set her eyes on me as she continue singing.

I am just so doomed to let this butterfly on my stomach turned into something that makes me feel crazy. Alam kong masyadong mabilis, alam kong imposible, at mas lalong alam kong hindi madaling masuklian ang nararamdaman kong ito but it's already there. She captivated my heart from the first time I saw her. It is very unusual from someone who doesn't used to know what does it feels like but damn, she is worthy of this feeling.

"Never thought not having you here now would hurt so much..." She closed her eyes for awhile and everything has stopped.

"Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up..." and everyone now is singing their heart out. Even Hannah right now was captivated by her.

Pero hindi ko dinala si Hannah dito para lang makita si Melody. Kailangan naming mag usap. Kailangan kong liwanagin sa kaniya na hindi kami pwedeng dalawa dahil kailan man ay hindi ko kayang mag mahal ng taong hindi ko naman mahal.

"Ahmmm Hannah can we go outside? I just need to talk with you." Tumayo ako at tumungo kaagad sa labas. Kahit hindi pa tapos ang performance ay lumisan na ko at alam kong nakasunod siya sa akin. Kaya nang medyo napalayo na kami sa ingay na nagmumula sa bar ay hinarap ko agad siya.

"Hannah we can't be together," I started. Napatingin ako sa kaniyang mga mata na unti unting nabubuo ang mga luha. "I can't date you, I can't be with you, I don't even like you. I'm so so—"

"I know!" And her tears began to fall. "You can't date me 'cause you're hanging up with someone else! you can't be with me 'cause there is someone else you've wanted to spend your life with! you don't like me 'cause you like her!" She then stopped for a while to catch her breathing. She wiped her tears away and looked into my eyes.

"You don't like me 'cause you're inlove with Melody."

I was suddenly startled by what she said. How did she find out about Melody? Yes I do like her but I am the only one knows about it. My bestfriend Lance doesn't even know anything about this. So how could this possibly happen that she found out?

"I followed you Troye. Noong iniwan mo akong mag isa sa library ay sinundan kita agad. At first nagulat ako kase not in my wildest dream that I think you would spend your time here. In a bar." I tried to occupy the space between us but she just stepped backward. "And then that night, I saw you with her. You're just walking in the park like my kiss with you that night doesn't bothering you."
