Y/N PoV
We all go to Pops to celebrate our victory against Chuck. There are so many victories to celebrate except Jughead and I aren't in the mood. "The drive in closing is just one more nail in the coffin that is Riverdale. No forget Riverdale! In the coffin that is the American Dream." I nod and take a drink of my milkshake, "As The Godfather of indie film, Quinten Tarantino likes to say..." he raises his voice.

Kevin cuts him off, "Please! God, no more Quinten Tarantino reference." he begs.

"What! I'm pissed. And just not about losing my job. The Twilight Inn should mean something to us! People should be trying to save it."

I hold his hand under the table trying to calm him down a bit, "I'm pissed as well Jughead. It means so much to me and I don't want to lose it."

"In this age of Netflix and VOD, do people really want to watch a movie in a car? I mean who even goes there?" Veronica really doesn't care and, in fact, I think she might want it to close so we can't drag her there.

Kevin is with Veronica on this one, "People who want to buy crack!"

"And cinephiles, and car enthusiasts! Right Betts? N/N?" Jughead fights back.

Betty just keeps staring at her milkshake, "Totally." She whispers and I nod in agreement.

"Anyways it's closing because this town owns it but doesn't invest in it! So when an anonymous buyer made Mayor McCoy an offer she can't refuse!" He looks really frustrated so I squeeze his hand. Jughead takes a breathe and gives me a small smile.

"Anonymous buyer? What do they have to hide? No one cares!" Veronica says.

"I do!" Jughead yells,"By the way you should all come to closing night. I'm thinking American Graffiti. Or is that to obvious?"

Veronica smiles at him and gives him a serious look, "I vote for anything staring Audrey Hepburn. Or Kate Blanchett."

Kevin looks over at her with a smile, "Or the talented Mr.Ripley. Betty, your choices?"

Betty starts to come back from her spaced out state. She shakes her head.

"Everything ok B?" Veronica asks.

"Yeah! I'm just thinking..." Betty tries to play it off naturally, "Um..maybe..Rebel Without A Cause?" She asks while looking at Jughead.

They laugh and the jealously starts to come back again. I stare at my shake and roll my eyes.

The bell rings, "Well that's an odd combo of people."

I see Grundy, Archie, and Fred walk in together. My eyes go wide at the sight. Oh god.

Betty gets up, "I'll be right back."

Jughead and I try to grab her to pull her back in her seat. She gets out of our grasp then walks over to them. Betty pulls Archie outside with him and Jug slouches down.

Veronica starts to get curious at their heated conversation, "Whats happening out there? Do we know?"

"I have a strong hancoring and no. Also let it go." Jughead tells her.

"Yeah you shouldn't worry about it!" I demand.

Veronica shrugs, "But you guys are you and I'm me. You do you girl! I'll be back." She slides out of the booth happily.

Kevin looks at her and laughs, "What was it like before she got here? I honestly cannot remember."

I really want to see what's going on out there. I move so I'm pressed against the window forgetting that leaves me on Jughead's lap.

He looks at me with wide eyes but I don't catch them. I try and make out what they are saying. Betty looks at us angrily. Archie must have told her that we knew about this.

Alice Cooper pulls up and yells at Betty. She gets in the car and Alice speeds away.

Veronica and Archie talk a bit and walk back inside.

I scoot over and remember I was on Jughead's lap. I start blushing. Kevin is just giving me a huge smirk and raised eyebrows. Jughead is smiling, surprisingly. I shrug and continue on eating my food.

We finish our food and leave the diner. Jug and I go back to the drive in. I help him prepare for the last drive in movie ever being played in this town. Closing night is tomorrow. I went to the lawyer today after school and all I have to do is sign the papers tomorrow.

Jughead told me he is going to try and go live back home. Luckily I already was looking at apartments when I lived with my dad. I would just browse and dream about my home I would have one day. Away from him. There was one I saved on my computer so I contacted the guy this morning. He told me if I pay an extra $400 dollars I could move in tomorrow. I took the deal.

Tomorrow will be the last night for the drive in to live. The last night for Jughead and I's sleepovers. The last night I will be a daughter.
