got all this time on my hands
might as well cancel our plans
i could stay here for a lifetime***
sasha brought the wine glass to her lips, letting the strong liquid inside smoothly flow down her throat. she sighed in relief whilst looking out at the calm lake in front of her. the evening sun was shining down on it the crystal clear water, leaving a glistening sparkle.
the wind was calm, not doing much more than lightly blowing a few stains of sasha's dark blue hair.
she was finally at peace.
"SASHA!"
the echoing yell left none other than her boyfriend's lips. she rolled her eyes, taking one last long swig if her wine. she walked into the lake house, spotting him in the kitchen that she had just cleaned.
"seth, i told you to let me handle the cooking," she sighed, walking up behind him. she placed her hand on his lower back before peering around him to see what he was making. "really, you can't even make brownies?" she chuckled.
seth stepped away from the bowl of dark brown mix, crossing his arms over his chest. "i can, but why is it so thick?" he whined, "i mean i like some things thick," his eyes travelled up and down sasha's body, "but not my mix."
she huffed, "did you add the eggs?"
he guiltily bit his bottom lip, "no," he trailed off, "i uh did not."
she shook her head, walking over to the fridge and pulling out two eggs. she cracked them, letting the insides fall into the mixture, before stirring it up again.
"i don't know how much longer i can take being stuck with you," she sighed. seth dramatically gasped, slapping his right hand over his heart. "it's true. you're driving me insane!" she exclaimed, pouring the mix into the brownie pan. she smoothed out the batter before placing them in the oven to bake.
"well who would you rather be stuck with?" he asked, arching an eyebrow at the girl.
she smiled, looking up at her tall boyfriend, "me, myself, and i."
he grabbed her hips, pulling her body closer to his, "too bad," he whispered. he leaned down, pecking her soft lips before grabbing her hand and leading her out of the kitchen.
"seth where are we going?" she asked, continuing to be dragged along. he stopped them in the living room where a fort of blankets and pillows had been set up.
"i thought we'd have a nice movie night," he murmured, "get our minds off this stupid virus."
sasha hugged him, letting her head lean against his chest, "i just wanna go out again," she whined.
"i know, but we're lucky. we are healthy, have a beautiful lake house, boats, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, a fire pit, and plenty of alcohol."
"your right," she sighed.
"i always am."

sasha slammed the bedroom door closed, making sure to lock it. she pulled the curtains in front of the windows, blocking out the gleaming sunlight, before collapsing in her bed.
she hated seth.
"baby, please open the door," he laughed, knocking his hand against it. she sat up, crisscrossing her legs and draping a blanket over her head.
"no, your stupid!" she yelled.
they were probably on their 100th argument this quarantine. they fought like a married couple.
"baby, you know i didn't mean it. you were even laughing!" he called, "come out and we can go swimming together, okay?"
"no!" she yelled, "not until you apologize."
seth's laughter rose again as sasha pouted, trying her best not to laugh along with him. she could never truly stay mad at him no matter how many times he got on her nerves.
"i'm sorry i said you acted like a worn out mom of five," he groaned, "now come out. i miss you!"
she huffed, "fine, but i need to change into my bathing suit. go pull out the paddle boards."
she opened her drawer, pulling out a white bikini. she threw her hair into low pig tails, leaving two strands of hair out to frame her face. a smile drew along her face as she exited the bedroom and walked outside.
"you look beautiful!" seth shouted from the water. he was only in ankle deep, as he tugged the paddle boards into the water.
sasha blushed before running down the sand and into the warm water. she hopped on one paddle board, seth climbing on the other.
they rode around, not going passed the raft. seth occasionally brought his paddle up to splash sasha, who yelled at him every time and returned an even bigger splash.
sasha sat down on the board, letting her feet dangle in the water. she carefully laid down, soaking in the warm sun. her eyes instinctively closed shut to block out the brightness.
as she lay floating on the board, seth hopped of his. he quietly swam over to her, making sure his presence was unknown.
he gripped on to the side of her board before flipping it over, knocking sasha into the water.
she screeched coming up to the surface. she wasn't able to touch the ground here anymore, but seth seemed to stand just fine.
"your such an idiot!" she yelled, using her arms to send a large amount of water flying into his face. he laughed, blocking the water with his hands as she continued to attack him. "i didn't want to go in the water yet!" she complained, grabbing his shoulders and forcefully pulling him under the water.
he grabbed her body, tightly holding the girl, making sure she couldn't break free from his grip. "i hate you!" sasha cried, wrapping her arms around his neck. he just smiled, continuing to tightly hold her.
"you don't mean that," he said with a smirk.
"yes i do!" she defended.
"too bad then," he hummed, "you can complain and bitch all you want, but your stuck with me. not even just for this quarantine, but for the rest of our lives."
sasha pursed her lips before smiling, "i actually like being stuck with you," she whispered, resting her chin on his shoulder.
he chuckled, kissing the side of her head, "me too gorgeous, me too."
