no reason to stay is a good reason to go

"are you ready to go?" seth mumbled, watching as the blue-haired girl approached the table he was sitting at in catering. she nodded her head, slinging her duffel bag over her shoulder. seth stood up, feeling around his pockets for the keys. he pulled the set out, the sound of them clashing together being the only noise to fill the room.

the two walked down the hall, a gap between their bodies. neither said a word.

it never used to be like this.

they used to walk down these halls, hand in hand, laughing about anything that came to mind. sometimes seth would offer her a piggyback ride and they'd run down the halls like children.

not anymore.

they walked through the almost empty parking lot before stepping into the shiny black rental car. sasha placed her bag at her feet as the drive was only fifteen minutes to the hotel.

she let out a loud sigh, seth having no reaction to the girl's obvious displeasure.

silence. complete silence as they drove.

to sasha the silence was loud. it was screaming at her. screaming for her to leave this relationship before everything went up in flames, before she got too hurt.

she looked over at her boyfriend before tracing her eyes back over to the window.

what am i still doing in this relationship?

sasha sat in the hotel bed. the thick white comforter suffocated her body as she leaned against her pillows, laptop resting in her lap.

"what do you want to watch tonight?" sasha asked, eyes glued to seth who was removing his shirt.

"up to you," he shrugged. the brunette walked over to the bed, seeing the pain in sasha's eyes. it was the same pain that's lived in the girls brown orbs for months now.

"parks and recs it is," she murmured, clicking on the show.

the two layed in bed, faces emotionless as they stared at the screen. after two episodes sasha closed the lap top, placing it on the nightstand.

"i love you," she whispered.

"i love you too."
