(A/N: heyyyy! Want to skip this weird intro? Go to the next chapter to get into the story. This is my first story, hope you like it :) this first chapter is more of an introduction to your character, but if you enjoy it be sure to slap it on yo list!)
Y/N walked down the path towards her new house.
It was pretty, with white wooden walls and deep black beams stretching across the ceiling. She peered around the looming walls, eyeing the sea as it called out from behind her garden and said hello. Y/N wasn't by any means a sea-side kid; rural life was in her blood, this was a whole new exciting world.
Gravel crunched under her sandals and the playful wind tugged on her white vest and the red jacket around her waist.
"This is it huh." Y/N said to no one but herself "my new house. My new town. My new life." She stood there and contemplated what the future had to hold until her mothers shrill voice shattered her thoughts.
"Y/N! Come and help get the stuff inside would you?" Y/N's mother, Victoria, was a townie to say the least. She took pride in looking nice but tried her best to stay modest.
"Yeah," Y/N's dad grunted, "this is heavy you know..." he was carrying a huge suitcase filled with his work stuff on his bear back. Y/N rushed over to help share the weight of the suitcase- probably her mother's clothes based on the perfume sent alone. Her dad smiled a smart grin and said "so? Looks nice right?"
Y/N nodded, her arms straining under the weight of the case "Yeah, looks awesome" she replied honestly, but wasn't really bothered. Once the case was inside she dropped it to the floor with a thud and lent back with a sigh. Who even needs this much stuff?! Y/N looked to the car- filled with more cases to carry. "Fuck." This was going to be a long afternoon.
*A/N - this was very much a short intro to the main character and her family. An only child (probably British as I am too so I might use some words like plaster not bandaid and mum not mom) <3
