(A/N: Kinda filler but hey ho xx)

Sirens were blaring down the small lane. It was the dead on night. The dark air swarmed around the crashed car, revealed by the blue and red flashing lights. The pogues had retrieved their beloved Twinkie from the church and were driving it home, when they came across the worrying scene. Kie felt her stomach plummet. "Oh no they found the truck..." She said nervously.
"Chill, chill, chill, chill." Pope said calmly from the back.
"Of course!" JJ started rocking anxiously in the passenger seat. His hand flew to his chest and he clutched at his beating heart. Y/N sat behind him, placing a hand on it and using her other to pull his hat down.
"Just, calm down. Just relax" John B advised.
An officer approached the window.
"Good evening officer." John B said, looking down.
"Sheriff." He replied. It was Shoupe.
John B looked up, surprised. "Sheriff. Yeah."
"Fucks sake..." Y/N said quietly in JJ's ear.
They sat there quietly for a moment. John B stared at the crashed truck then looked over at Shoupe. "Speed kills. Huh?"
"I pulled the tags, and I know who's truck that is." Shoupe said, wasting no time.
Y/N looked over at Kie, pulling her down behind the seats. Shoupe however merely had to shine his torch past Pope's head, who was behind John B, and saw Kie ducking down on Y/N's lap.
"Hey! Kie! You drop your weed pen back there?" Shoupe asked mockingly.
Kie sat up slowly, awkwardly saying "Found it.... Sheriff I just wanna say this is all my fault-"
"I know that isn't true." He cut her off, meeting Y/N's eye.
"It wasn't them." Pope piped up. "It was me. My idea. I take 100% responsibility."
"Pope..." Y/N looked up at him, worried. He didn't need to do this...
"Nothing to do with it huh?" Shoupe started at the girls. "Uh-huh. You wanna try that again? Your parents reported the truck missing four hours ago and the keys were missing from the house. I am taking you home. Or I can pull you all in for leaving the scene of an accident."
Sarah shut her eyes and bit her lip. Fuck. Kie scrunched her face up in response. This couldn't get any worse.
"Okay." Kie sighed.
"No...." Y/N said quietly. "Let's just go.."
"Y/N... we can't run from the law forever." She replied.
"Good." Shoupe looked over at Plumb, "Plumb."
She nodded and went around to the vans side door, pulling it open and looking down at Kie. She got out slowly and went to leave.
Y/N offered to go with, "You want me to-"
"No... no it's okay." She sighed. "I gotta deal. Hit me up later and make sure I'm still alive."
"Come on. Let's get you home." Shoupe said, leading her away.
Y/N grunted angrily and punched the floor of the Twinkie. "Fuck!"

"Hey, Rose." Rafe said into his phone, "I got the... the cross, of um. The cross thing they were looking for I got it! Our ballroom days aren't over Rose this thing is covered in diamonds."
Rose was still in the ship yard, pacing on the phone to her step-son. Her mouth dropped open. "Rafe what about Limbrey and the others?" She asked.
Rafe took a deep, low breath. "Don't worry about them."
"What does that mean." She ordered an explanation.
"It means don't worry about it." He snapped. "They're taken care of. They're out of the deal, all right? I did this on my own."
"Rafe..." Rose looked worried, and her voice gave her emotions away. "Did you hurt them?"
"No. No uh, I didn't..." Rafe chuckled, putting emphasis on the I. (A/N: DAMN..)
"Go home." She ordered. "I need you to stay out of trouble until the morning. We're leaving tomorrow."
"Rose did you hear what I said!?" Rafe raised his voice slightly. "Huh!? We've got the cross now! We don't have to leave!"
"There are bigger things going on right now Rafe I need you to trust me." Rose replied bluntly. Fat chance.
"What are you talking- bigger things... What are you taking about!? What bigger things are going on than this huh!? We got the cross it's endgame it's done!"
"Go home." Rose replied calmly. "I'll meet you there."
"Rose!" Rafe shouted down the phone. Only to be met with the dull reply of the dial tone.

Kie wasn't sure if she should tell her mother what she saw... It... It was so confusing. For now- she wouldn't. Her family was torn up enough without her ripping another hole in it. She lent over the counter, dropped off by Shoupe, and watched her parents clean up. Anna dropped a leaflet down in front of her. For blue ridge. Kie glared at it, 'wilderness therapy'. Huh.
"What is this?" She asked.
"That's your future Kie. If you don't turn your shit around." Mike snapped.
Kie scoffed at him, she had no respect for him anymore. "You're joking right? This is one of those places where they kidnap you in the middle of the night. Wilderness cuckoo's nest."
"No... It's a behaviour program for troubled teens." Anna told her.
Kie made an annoyed face, "So now I'm a troubled teen?"
Mike chuckled dryly, "What the hell would you call it."
Kie raised her eyebrows and sighed, "Okay.. what the hell would you call your relationship with V-"
Mike slammed his hand down, "Enough! You disappear for days Kiara! And then you come back to my house, steal my truck. Then you go crash it."
"I thought John B and Sarah were dead! My friends.... all of my friends I've had to suffer through that pain with... But that one was so long.... So hard.... And I was just packed back to school like nothing happened!"
 "That's not true-" Anna began.
"-Like it was all fine! Nothing about that is fine!"
Anna began emptying the till as she explained, "I know nothing about that is fine, nothing about any of this is fine!" Her tears started to catch in her throat.
Kie stood up, "I'll do whatever you want! Okay? I'll pull double shifts-"
Mike nodded, "You bet your ass you will. And you'll stop hanging out with that [SIRNAME] girl."
"No...."
"Kiara-"
"Dad that isn't fair!"
"She is so disrespectful!"
"Disrespect!? You want to talk to me abo-"
Mike slammed his hands down again, "We will discuss this later...."
"Look.... What I did... it wasn't wrong! I was doing what I thought was right. They needed my help. I didn't mean to crash the truck or anything like that." She looked at Anna, "And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for sneaking out, and I'm sorry for skipping school. It was stupid I know and I... I didn't... I'm sorry for going to Charleston and I'm sorry for stealing the truck and I'm-"
Anna's tears were encasing her sad, brown eyes. She reached out to Kie...
"I didn't mean-"
"I know. I know." She said. Seeing herself in Kie. "But sorry isn't going to cut it anymore."
"Let me tell you what's going to happen." Mike butted in. "No more sneaking out. No more treasure hunts. And no more pogues."
Kie sat up straight and pulled her hands from Anna's shaking grasp.
"Period." Anna enforced.
"It's that. Or blue ridge." Mike told her sternly.
Kie gulped, wishing she was back with the Pogues once more.

(A/N: Sad for Kie ;-;
