(A/N: Ah idek when Rafe and JJ will argue sorry I have so much collage assignments and work to do im sorry x ALSO- It's not a swerslide attempt. It's the escape attempt by Sarah.)

The venture carved through the oceans waves effortlessly. Rafe was pacing quickly towards his room, looking for Y/N. Upon reaching the door, he pushed against it. It didn't move. He shook the handle only to find out it had been locked. Rose appeared behind him momentarily, some pills in her hand. She slipped it behind her back. "Rafe..? What is it?"
He shook the door harder. "Y/N!? Y/N you in there?"
No reply.
Rose put the pills in her pocket and moved him aside, fiddling through the set of keys she borrowed from the captain. There wasn't one for Rafe's room. "Shit."
"...What." Rafe narrowed his eyes.
Rose sighed, "We have a pogue on the lose."
Rafe slammed his fist into the door, making Rose jump.
"Rafe, Rafe calm down." She said softly.
He shoved her aside, "Tell no one she's missing- it'll arouse suspicion. I'll handle this."
"Rafe-"
"I'll. Handle. This." He snapped, walking off.

John B was peering through the small, barred window of the container, staring out at the crowded dock. The pogues were all sitting around him, quietly.
"Hey Pope." JJ piped up, "How do you kill a snake?"
Pope shut his eyes and shook his head sleepily, "You go for the head."
"Exactly." He grinned, "But the head, in this instance, is the bridge. To take the bridge we need maximum firepower-"
Kie rolled her eyes.
"-and I happen to know that there's an armoury on this ship, in case of pirate attacks."
"Pirate attacks." Kie exclaimed in a breathy voice.
"If we take that-- I'm not just talking pistols!" JJ began.
Kie stood up, "You lost me."
"I'm talking knives, shotguns, maces, daggers-" JJ started to list weapons he knew.
Kie pushed past him, towards the containers door. "Killing everyone here isn't a plan."
JJ brushed it off, "Ah, we lost her. Aight I'm serious, if we get to the armoury. I'm talking AKs, double-barrels, knives, pistols-"
"JJ!" John B stood up, stopping him.
"What."
John B sighed, "We gotta get outta here. We can't do anything if we're still in here."
Kie was looking up at another window nearer the front of the container. She noticed some light gleaming out of behind a coiled up piece of blue rope. She pulled the rope down, and started to grin as her face lit up.
"If I get enough pressure I can spartan-kick that door open." Boasted JJ.
"You're not kicking shit!" John B scolded him.
They argued indistinctly behind Kie, and Pope had to intervene to stop them.
"Guys." She spoke up.
"What do you got Einstein!?" JJ fired at Pope, not hearing Kie.
She tried again, "Guys!"
They looked over at her.
"She's got something." JJ grinned.
"Quiet." Pope told them, walking over slowly as to not make too much noise.
There was another window. This one bigger than the last. It also had bars, but looked rather rusted. "Can we fit through that?" She asked.
"Nice one." John B grinned, "Yeah."
JJ reached into his pocket and pulled out a small grey pod-like thing, "What was that about a swiss-army knife not coming in handy?"
"Just stop it." John B told him.
Pope nudged him forwards, "Go."
JJ jumped up to the window and started to try levering it open.

"Ah shit!" Cleo shouted, scalding her hand.
"You okay?" Y/N asked, concerned. She was trying to help but could barely see in all the smoke- and didn't know what to do.
A man whistled from the boiler room's entrance. "HEY!"
Cleo quickly pushed Y/N out of sight. "What man!?"
"You ain't seen any of the stowaways have you!?" He asked.
"Stowaways? Hah! I got a cracked oil pan on a piece of shit entrance. If I don't keep feeding this thing like a baby she's gunna blow!"
"All right," The man nodded, "Keep an eye out for me!"
"Whatever." Cleo scoffed. "Shit. Rasshole thing man." She winced, burning herself again.
The man left.
"Thank you, Cleo." Y/N smiled.
"I got you girlie. Do me a favour. Bring me that wrench." She pointed. Y/N started to search for it, but she couldn't see it anywhere.
"Cleo, I need to know. Do you know your way around this ship?" She asked.
Cleo nodded, "Yeah, I do."
"Could you help me find Sarah?" She asked, hopefully. Still looking for the wrench.
"No can do. I gotta stay with this engine right now. Once we stop, I will get you to her and you can leave here together."
"Thank you. For letting me hunker down here, away from Rafe." Y/N said gratefully.
Cleo smiled, "I keep telling you it's no worries. Where are we on the wrench?"
"Can't see it here." She made a face.
"Keep looking girlie."

"Do you guys wanna play war?" Wheezie asked Sarah as Rose walked in. She sat down on a chair and picked up a magazine.
Sarah looked up, "You brought cards?"
Wheezie nodded.
Sarah thought for a moment, before saying, "Yeah."
"I'll go grab them." Wheezie smiled.
Sarah watched her leave, and turned to Rose. "Where's Y/N?"
Rose thought about her reply, "With Rafe."
Sarah made a face, poor Y/N. She stretched and rubbed her eyes as she waited for Wheezie. There was so much to think about right now she thought her brain was going to explode. What was she going to do when she reached Guadeloupe? What about Y/N? What about the pogues? What about Wheezie? Would she ever feel freedom again? "Oh god...." Sarah stood up, she felt sick. She put a hand on her chest as she walked towards the door, but a big wave gushing through the boat made it tip, and she stumbled sideways violently.
"Oh, Sarah. What's wrong sweetie?" Rose looked up from her magazine.
Sarah sighed heavily, "I just think I'm gunna be seasick." She leant over one of the sinks.
"Oh." Rose closed her magazine, and stood up. "Here. I have just the thing." She went off to get some sea-sickness pills.
"Meds?" Sarah asked, sulkily.
"Sarah, seriously? That was for your own good. You know it killed me to do that to you." She sighed.
"Only to me?" Sarah's eyes narrowed, "Not my friend."
"She's a pogue sweetie. I don't see why Rafe wanted her so bad, but whatever it takes to keep him calm and happy." She sighed, going to leave again.
"Non-drowsy please." Sarah said. Referring back to the meds.
"Chill Sarah, this is a good thing." Rose sighed, leaving to get her the pills.
As soon as Rose's back was turned, Sarah went straight for the door. Slipping out through the smallest crack she could make as to not make any noise.

She heard two girls laughing in a room she passed. The heat was so strong she could feel it just passing by. Sarah went straight forwards and up some stairs. After a few more twists and turns she found herself in what looked like a storage room. A big one. While passing over one of it's upper-floor balconies she noticed something shining in the corner of her eye. Sarah spun to look at it. There, lying in a big crate. Glimmering brighter than the L'Incomparable. Was the cross. Sarah teared up slightly as she stormed past it, heading towards an exit.

Bursting into the fresh air, Sarah let the saltiness of the ocean's breath hit her lungs and fill them up. It felt good. She jogged up some stairs and up towards where the captain's navigators were walking around, steering the ship.
Sarah peered in one of the windows, hearing one of them say, "No, no, no. We're on track.". Sarah eyed one of the radio/phones, sitting on the table. Then some metal, paint buckets sitting nearby. She paced over to them, breathing heavily. She looked around, before kicking the buckets to the floor in a loud racket. She then darted around the corner to hide.
One of the navigators saw this, "What the hell...?" He asked, going out to inspect it. The bucket was rolling around, leaving a trail of blue paint behind it. "What kind of shit is this!?" He exclaimed.
Sarah ducked into the cabin once he had left. Grabbing the radio. She ran from the room and back outside, back down the stairs and around the corner. Sarah pulled the radio's antenna out and dialled.
'Dispatch 60290' came a voice.
"Hello?"
'What is your emergency?'
"Hello? Hello? My name's Sarah Cameron, I'm on a boat called the coastal venture!" She said loudly.
The door behind her swung open violently.
"I- I- I've been kidnapped. I need-" A hand wrapped around her mouth suddenly.
'Could you repeat that please?' asked the voice.
The man pushed her against the wall, hushing her and taking the radio.
'What is your location?'
"Yeah that's just my teenage daughter, pulling pranks again. Yeah. Sorry." The man chuckled.
Sarah glared at him as he held her down with his arm.
He hung up. He glared at her. "You're in deep shit kid." He let go of her throat.
