*Alyssa's POV*

After I changes from my workout clothes, I wanted to clear my mind with some videos and I usually go for one of Dan or Phil's but it felt weird now. They were filmed right above me. It was almost 6:00 in the evening, but I wasn't hungry. Phil posted a new video this morning. I felt like I needed to watch it but I really didn't want to. Whatever, I did.

I listened to it in the background as i went on Twiter and scrolled to Dan's post about the thing. I didn't think he actually did it. I favorited it and retweeted it like i usually do with their tweets and went back to the video.

I almost had a heart attack when Dan tapped the window. I tried to calm down and saw him giggling at me. Was he seriously teasing me. I was not in the best mood for this. Im guessing Phil told him to appologize. I unlocked and opened the window.

"Hi." I said trying to sound sad so he would leave.

"Are you alright?" he asked

I nodded but I was upset. I wanted to just come out and say Hey, I'm not great, You were rude, and my idol thinks im an annoying twat.
He gave me the pity face and I was buying it.

"No you're not. I'm sorry if I sounded a bit rude."

"No, you were great!" I tried my best to sound enthusiastic.

"Actually, I wasnt." He says sassily. "I'm sorry. Would you like to join us for supper?"

"I know Phil put you up to this, you don't have to pretend."

"i'm not." He sounded serious. "Please join us."

"I would, but I'm not very hungry." I wanted this to jsut end."Honestly. I forgive you."

He smiled at me but still looked depressed and now I feel like a bad human being. He was genuinley apologizing and I was the rude one. But it was too late. He was gone and I lost two potential friends. He thinks that I hate him.

I put the kettle on the stove to heat up some tea. That was all I was in the mood for. Some nice hot tea. I went to read the mail, as I do everyday when I see that it's not there. I was distracted with all the girls in the lobby this afternoon. I left the room and jogged to the mailroom.

I returned to my floor, which smelled of burned popcorn. I covered my nose with my sleeve and went back to the room. I opened it and smoke filled the hall. Shit. I had left the kettle unattended. My heart raced as I looked for the fire extinguisher. Where the hell did I put it. Oh right, in the kitchen. I tried to get out the front door but the christmas wreath bursted into flames. Of course. I panicked and breathed in the smoke. I ran up the ladder to Dan's apartment through the escape. I did not take my phone, money, anything. I just ran. I was becoming light headed but I kept going.
