Chapter 14

It's been a week since the girls came back from Paris. Everything went smooth. The girls were even more close especially Lia and Ryujin. The two were together every time, the school was shocked when they saw their perfectionist student president and the school's greatest troublemaker are now best friend.

Can you imagine?

It's already lunch time, the cafeteria is now getting noisy because of the crowds. The five girls are now enjoying their meal while talking.

"Everyone, semestral break is near, any plans?" Yuna asked.

"We should have pajama party!" Chaeryeong cheered.

"Let's enjoy the week vacation before my birthday". Yeji said.

"Oh! I almost forget about it". Yeji smacked Ryujin when she heard what she said.

"How could you forgot your best friend's birthday?" Lia laughed.

The laughter dies when Soobin walk towards them with a bouquet of flowers in his arms.

"Hey girls!" He greeted. "By the way, this is for you my beautiful lady". Soobin handed the flowers to Lia and he joined them.

"Thanks". Everyone cheered, except for the quiet Ryujin.

Ryujin stood up that made everyone at the table looked at her.

"I'll just go to the library guys, see you later". She said before she move herself out of the canteen.

"Weird". Yuna said.

"Right. This is the first time I saw Ryujin moving her ass to the library. Really weird". Yeji said with widen eyes.

Lunch time ended and a few minutes later the bell rang as an indication that the class started.

Lia, Yeji an Chaeryeong entered their room. Yeji look around to find her best friend but she saw no Ryujin around.

"Guys, have you seen Ryujin?" She asked.

"Come on, we've been together since earlier, if you don't know where she is, us to". Chaeryeong said.

Their history teacher entered the room but still no Ryujin around. Since she was famous for interrupting the teachers, their classmates are waiting for her to cut the teacher's boring lectures. Lia was worried about Ryujin so she texted her.

Hey, Where are you?

Hey, Shin Ryujin!

Can you please reply?

Class had started.
1:13 pm

Still no reply. The teacher noticed that Lia is bowing, seems like hiding something underneath the table.

"Miss Choi! What are you doing?" The teacher asked. Everyone looked at the said girl. Lia was flustered so she made an excuse.

"I dropped my pen, ma'am. Sorry". She said. The teacher nodded and went back to her lessons.

'Where that monkey could be?' Lia thought.

The last class ended and that's the only time where Ryujin showed up. Every students are preparing their things and went out of their rooms, some are heading home, some are heading somewhere. Ryujin called her sister asking where she is.

"Yuna, where are you?" She asked.

"I'm at the student council office, Lia unnie told me that you didn't atte—" Yuna didn't finish her sentence when Ryujin ended the call.

She walk towards the student council office with her hands full of cartoon box. Ryujin knocked before she enter the room.

"Dude! Where have you bee—Oh~ foods". Yeji's eyes glitter when she saw Ryujin carrying various of foods.

"What are you doing here? As far as I know, you're not part of the student council". Ryujin told her best friend.

"Unnie, you didn't attend your class earlier". Yuna said.

"I'll explain okay and besides, I bought your favorite". Ryuujin said as she raise the box of pizza.

"Wow! Unnie you're forgiven". The youngest said as she drool over the pepperoni pizza

Ryujin gave the other box that contains donuts to Yeji and Chaeryeong. Lastly, she knocked at Lia's small office.

"Come in". She heard.

"Hey". Ryujin said as she entered Lia's office.

"What are you doing here?" Lia asked.

"Can't you say 'Hello Ryujin' first?" Ryujin sarcastically said.

She placed the pasta and the bubble tea at Lia's table that made the older girl stop her business and look at her.

"By the way, I saw this rose at the council's office door". Ryujin said as she handed the sky blue rose to Lia. "It has your name, Ms. President". 

'The good things in life is better with you' Lia read it to herself.

"Care to explain, why you disappeared earlier?" Lia said. She called the other girls to hear Ryujin's explanation.

"I accidentally fall asleep at the library". Ryujin said.

"That's it?" Chaeryeong asked. Ryujin nodded.

"My God! I thought something happened to you". Yuna slapped her sister's arms.

"Everyone, back to work. We still have a lot of papers to finish". Lia announced. " And you, go home, now". She pointed at Ryujin.

"I'll wait for you". Ryujin blurted. She just realized what she said when Lia looked at her confusedly. " I-I mean I'll w-wait for you guys". She stutter.

"Okay. As you say so".
