Chapter 32

Lia's P.O.V.

I can't believe what Soobin revealed. How dare them play with feelings. I trusted them, especially Ryujin. I thought she's a true friend but she just taken me for granted. I can't believe that she can do things like that. I feel the world slapped me two times. Not just my jerk boyfriend cheated on me but also Ryujin failing me. I heard Ryujin calling my name but I didn't mind her. I walk towards my car but Ryujin grabbed my arms.

"Lia, please hear me out". She pleaded. I turned to face her.

Due to my anger, I slapped her. "Really, Ryujin? Really?" My tears fell because I can't take it anymore.

"I didn't mean to hurt you". She said looking down.

I slapped her again but she didn't budge. "Bullsh*t Ryujin! Didn't mean to hurt me? But why did you do it? huh?" I pushed her. She just stood there looking down so I speak again.

"You're not far different from him! I trusted you but you fooled me!" I hit her chest many times while crying.

"Lia it's not like that". She said when I stopped hitting her.

"What do you mean it's not like that?! All this time, those nice acts, those cares, you being protective, all of those are just for a bet! right? So I only cost a 2,000 dollars?!" I chuckled dryly. "Soobin said that you planned to propose on me, now I realize why you didn't showed up after you left me at the field, I guess you're afraid to face your failure. Or maybe, you're mad because you lose the prize". I said sarcastically.

"It's not because of the bet, Lia..." She stop to hold both my cheeks. "...I planned to ask you because I love you". She said that made me froze on my spot.

Since she's taller than me, she rested her forehead on mine. "I love you, Lia. I love you, I love you, I love you! I really do". She said repeatedly. I won't believe her anymore.

I pushed her. "You're a great liar, Shin Ryujin". I said. I saw tears also falling from her eyes.

She take a step towards me but I also walk a step backward. "I'm not lying, Lia. Please believe me, please". She begged. She bowed down on her knees then she hold my right hand.

I removed my hand from hers. "If you really love me, then stay away from me, Shin. Because starting from now on, I don't want to see you nor hear anything from you. I despise you, Ryujin". I said that made her looked at me. "STAY. AWAY. FROM. ME!" I hurriedly enter my car.

"Lia! Please! I'm sorry!" She said while knocking on my car window. I ignored her then I started my car to drive myself to nowhere.

I'm crying not because of the heartbreak that my assh*le boyfriend caused. I'm crying because I'm losing the Shin Ryujin.

Third Person P.O.V.

After Lia left, Ryujin remained on her position, blaming herself because of what happened. Yeji, Chaeryeong and Yuna were just standing at her back watching her every movement. Ryujin took out her car key on her pants' pocket then made her way to her car quietly. She face the other girls before she enter her vehicle.

"I'm sorry if we did this mess at your birthday, Chae". Ryujin sincerely apologized at Chaeryeong.

"Ryu!" Chaeryeong cried.

"Dude, we'll accompany you". Yeji said.

Ryujin shook her head. "Thanks, dude. But I want to be alone now".

"Unnie! Please let me come with you". Yuna pleaded to her sister.

Ryujin showed a smile to them despite her bruises on her face. "Don't worry, Yu. I'll be fine. I won't do something stupid like before. Why don't you check Lia first? She also need you. I'll be okay. I just need to breath and reflect on what I did". She said in a low tone then she entered her car and leaved the girls.

Ryujin went straight to her penthouse. When she entered her house, she directly went to her fridge to grab a bottle of Henessy. Ryujin sat down at the corner while drinking the whiskey. She cried and cried because for the second time around, she lose Lia. Ryujin slammed the expensive bottle on her hand then continuously punched the wall. She stopped when she felt the numbness of her knuckles, she saw a blood dripping from it. Ryujin remembered what Lia said back in Paris.

"But it's more good to see without a bleeding knuckles" .

She sat down again at the corner and cry herself out. "I'm sorry, Lia. I really love you. What I felt for you is real. What I showed you is not because of the bet. I cared for you because I like you". Ryujin said as if she was talking to Lia.

After of hours of crying and drinking, Ryujin looks vulnerable addition to that, her wounds are still fresh. She didn't even mind to clean it. Because of the tiredness due to what happened this day, sleepiness invades Ryujin. She became unconscious at the kitchen with a broken glasses around her. She doesn't even care what will happen to her when tomorrow came.
