Chapter 13

Lia's P.O.V.

We are walking towards the nearest bakeshop that Ryujin mentioned earlier when we saw two girls facing each other inside, seems like they are fighting. The costumers leave one-by-ne in a hurry.

Is that Ryujin?

I was shocked when I saw the way she act towards the girl. The girl that she was talking with is now crying mess. Something is not right.

"Is that Ryujin?" Chaeryeong asked.

"Wait, she seems angry". Yeji said.

"Heejin unnie?" Yuna blurted. Yuna run towards the said shop so we followed her. Heejin? that name sounds familiar. I think I've heard that name before. I feel like a rock hit me when I remembered it. She was Ryujin's ex.

We entered the shop hurriedly, what shocked me even more is when Ryujin pushed her ex that made the other girl hit the corner of the table. She was about to shout at Heejin when I yelled.

"Ryujin! Stop it!" I ran towards her to stop her from what she was about to do. Yuna and the others help Heejin to stand up.

"Unnie! What happened?" Yuna asked worriedly.

Ryujin tried to resist my hold. "Let me go".

"I won't". I firmly said. I asked Chaeryeong to hail a cab to fetch us here.

"I'm sorry". Her ex said while crying.

Ryujin was about to attack Heejin when I hugged her to stop.

"Ryujin, please, stop. Stop now, please". I pleaded calmly while I rubbed her back to ease her.

Chaeryeong came back with the cab outside. I walked Ryujin towards the entrance but she keep requesting me to let go of her. What she did was over the limit.

"Lia, let me go". Ryujin said. "I need to talk to her". She added.

"I let you talk to her once you're already calm". I said as I pushed her inside the cab. I came back inside the bakeshop to apologize to Heejin.

"I'm sorry for what Ryujin did, I know her act was out of the line". I apologized in behalf of Ryujin.

"I understand her". She said.

"By the way, my name is Choi Julia, Lia for short". I introduced myself and stretch my arms for a handshake.

"Heejin, Jeon Heejin". She accepted my hand.

"Lia unnie, we need to go, Ryujin won't stop throwing her tantrums like a kid". Yuna also entered the shop. "It's nice meeting you again Heejin Unnie, but I hope I met you in a nice way". Yuna said.

"I'm sorry but we need to go". I placed a small smile.

"Take care of her for me". I nodded as a respond.

Third Person P.O.V.

It's a 20 minutes ride from the bake shop to their house. Through out the ride, everyone was silent, afraid to speak a single word. A moment after, they went home safe. Ryujin went straight to her room and lock it. Lia and Yuna was about to follow her when the other girls stop them.

"Let her for a while". Yeji said.

The two obliged.

"Heejin unnie is my unnie's first love, they met at grade school, since then the became best friends Ryujin decided to confess her ass to her when they started high school. Lucky my sister is because Heejin unnie likes her back. They were so in love back then, we even thought that they will live happily ever after at each other's arms. But we're wrong". Yuna narrated.

Their conversation were cut-off when they heard slamming sounds upstairs. Since yeji and Chaeryeong went out for a while, they knew that it came from Ryujin's room.

"Ryujin?" Lia.

"Unnie?" Yuna.

The two rushed upstairs to check the said girl. They knock and knock at Ryujin's door but still she doesn't open it for them. The two found the spare key at the top of the small cabinet next to Lia's room. Lia and Yuna opened the door, what surprised them is a messy room and Ryujin sitting at the corner with a bleeding knuckles.

Lia dashed towards Ryujin. Yuna checked her sister's bag, finding something.

"Unnie, where's your medicine?" Yuna asked.

"I don't drink it anymore, Yuna". Ryujin coldly said.

"But you need to drink it, I'll just buy your placebo on the drugstore". The youngest said before she dashed-out of the room.

"Hey". Lia calmly said as she hold Ryujin's hands. She grabbed the first aid kit inside the room to treat her. Ryujin gasped when Lia clean her wounds.

"Ouch". Ryujin said and pulled her hands.

"Let me treat it". Lia said. Ryujin endured the pain she's been feeling.

"I'm sorry, I know what I did is insensitive. I shouldn't have done that". Ryujin apologized while looking down.

"It's okay. I totally understand you". Lia put the band aid at Ryujin's knuckles as the final touch. Ryujin look at what Lia is doing and intertwined their hands.

"Your hand fits in mine, like it made just for me'. Ryujin said. Lia stopped and blushed at what the younger one said.

"But it's more good to see without the bleeding knuckles". Lia chuckled as she stood up. "You need to rest, we are going home tomorrow. I'll just tell Yuna to give you your meds when she came back, just make sure you'll drink it, okay?"

Ryujin saluted. "Yes boss".

Lia was about to leave but Ryujin grabbed her wrist. "Thank you". She sincerely said. "Thank you for comforting and understanding me". Lia smiled at her.
