Far away

After dinner. I headed back to my room and took a bath. I soaked in the tub, feeling my body releasing tension on the whole week. I close my eyes, took a deep breath then decided to wash up. I changed into my pj's and lay down on my bed. Minutes passed but I can't sleep. I got up and went to kitchen to grab milk. But I saw Jace and his bestfriend on the living area drinking. I put back the milk and headed to them.

"Mind if I join?" I burst out.
I saw Jace almost jump out of the sofa. "Are you planning to scare me to death huh?" He said growling.
"I think you should stop drinking coffee, your getting nervous." I teased.
"Silly. What brings you here."
"I can't sleep."
"Is your milk not helping?"
"I want to drink too. Its been ages since we last drink together." I said sadly.
"Yeah come on, join us." He commanded pointing the space beside him giving me a glass of wine. I took a sip, I missed this.

"Are you still waiting huh?" Jace asked.
"Big brother you know, I want you to have your true love first before I find mine."
"What if I dont find mine?" He asked me challenging.
"Jace love is not about finding. It's abstract. It comes to you without notice but giving you unexplainable feelings." I said gentle.
"Silly, Ae I think you should go dating." He said ignoring what I said.
"So you're allowing me now, huh?"
"No, I just want to break some jerk face." He said smirking.
"You foolish. Why dont you beat yourself?" I glared at him.
"I can't beat this handsome face of mine." He chuckled.
"I guess you're already drank." I said smirking then finished my 3rd glass. Its enough for me, I have an average tolerance in alcohol so I can't have more or I end up with hang over.
"I should get going, Goodnight. Thankyou for the drink. Jace dont forget to clean up huh?" I said while leaving and headed to my room. I can feel my eye lids is getting heavy.

Tonight is a good night. While on dinner I can't help staring at her. Lucky that she's unaware of my presence. I know there's a lot of men pursuing her, but I'm glad that she always rejecting them. This is one of the reason why I like her. She's cautious and smart.
"Do you still believe that you like her the first time you saw her?" Kyler ask smirking.
"Yes dude. That's one thing I'm sure about."
"Until now?"
"Yes until now."
"You never get attracted to other woman, not even once?" He ask curiously, I guess he's drank like what her sister said.
"Never dude. We've been together since childhood and you know me better than anyone."
"I see. But as you can see, she is such an ice." He said seriously.
"I know, that's why I work hard and patiently waiting."
"Are you not getting tired of just watching her from afar?" He asked.
"No. Seeing her even from afar brings my heart happiness."
"I don't understand you." He said growling.
"Yeah you dont, dont make your sister worry about you."
"I know, it's just that I don't understand what you're saying towards your feelings." He said.
"Because you haven't experience it. What your sister said is true. Love is abstract."
"Maybe. Nevermind. I'm just enjoying my freedom. I don't want to be like you." He said laughing.
"Jeez. When you fall inlove I'll sure laugh hard at you until bone." I said smirking.
"That's sure a scary thing." He laughed hard.
And the rest of the night is about emptying all available drinks in front of us. I drank a lot but still my mind is occupied by her.
