One of the supermodels in London, I once saw him when I did runaway. We shared the same stage back then, I remember I admire him because he is my dream man, everything I want for a man, I'm having a crush on him, funny that I didn't notice him because he used to be on his messy hair, he only fixed it for run away. He used Evans for stage name.

I felt like the ice that covered me, is slowly melting.

The show ended and they all gathered in front. I was invited to have atleast a brief speech, I took a deep breath and compose myself before heading to the stage.

"Good evening everyone, I hope you enjoy the show. I'm really grateful for sharing this amazing event with everyone here. Thank you for you support, I will do my best to continue making a world class apparel...
Let's all have a toast."

I raise the flute of wine in the air, and everyone gathered in a toast. Then a loud clapped surrounded the hall.

The models slowly exit one by one, I also headed down the stage, Dylan help me walking down. We went to my family's table, I set aside the thought of him. I should talked to him in private. Minutes later Anthony join us, already changed in his original suit and messy hair. Jace burst out...
"I think you should ask her something in return."
Anthony just smiled then focused on me, I just smiled at him. Thoughts can wait.
We spend another hours talking about things. Guest one by one bid their goodbyes.
"Sweetie we'll get going. Are you okay here?" Mom asked.
"Yes mom, I spend a little to help the team."
"Okay, love you dear." Mom said gave me a hug then kiss on cheeks.
Dad just hug me, Jace gave me a teasing look.
"I'll drive for you." Anthony offered.
Im in utter shock, mom and dad gave me a assuring smile, while Jace smirked at me.
"Ah.. okay.." I stuttered still shocked. Yeah we need to talk, good idea.
Mom, dad and Jace left. I spent a little time to help the team, then bid goodbye.
I went to my room to get my belongings, Anthony waited for me outside then grab my things heading to the parking.
We're in the car, silence...
"Are you tired?" He asked gentle.
I turned to face him, Im still ashamed because of the feelings I realized earlier.
"No I'm okay, how about you?" I asked timid.
"No, not at all."
"Ahhh... I never knew you were a supermodel." I stuttered, I need to know things.
He chuckled. "Im not a supermodel."
"I saw you in London." I started, I know he's playing unaware.
He didn't looked surprised on what I said, he slow down then looked at me.
"Yes, I saw you there too." He smiled.
My heart beat faster, he saw me? He recognized me though?
"You recognized me then?" Im confused.
"Of course I recognized you. Even your a miles away I can still recognized you." He said gentle with genuine smile.
I felt butterflies in my tummy, I felt heat all over my body.
"But... how... I didn't know you're modelling?" Im really confused.
He chuckled. "Just like you, I was forced to do run away, it happened once just to indulged my Mom wish."
"Oh... we both force to do run away on the same time and on the same stage." I said bit cheerful when I realized the matter.
"Indeed. Do you consider it fate?" He said bit teasing.
I smiled at the thought. "Yeah maybe."
He just smiled at me then focused back on driving, after a minutes we returned home.

Jace is in the living area with bottle of wine...
"Need buddies?" I asked teasing.
"Sure, just not a young girl." He teased back.
"What ever." I rolled eyes then sat beside him, Anthony left to get drinking glass.
After placing the glass in the table he sat opposite us. Jace pour me a wine, Anthony help himself to grab some.
"Jace why do you drink so often? Is there any problem?" I asked abruptly realizing Jace drink more often.
"No I don't. Is drinking a crime?" He said smirking.
"Not really, just wondering." I said brief trying to find answer in his eyes, but no emotion, its his ethic.
"Young lady, remember I made a promise to you?" Jace said.
"Yeah, and I'm hoping that you'll fulfill it." I said in gentle tone.
"Yeah that's why I enjoyed the rest of my carefree days." He chuckled.
"Jeez! You're really a baby!" I frowned.
"I can have a baby instead." He retorted laughing.
"Find a woman first, Jace!" I slapped his arm lightly.
"Finding a woman is very easy, but finding a good one is rare." Jace said im sarcasm.
"You're right. You want me to talked to her?" I offered. Jace like Abby my bestfriend, but she refuse because Jace is a really a fling, that made him more fucked up.
"She won't believe that I can changed." He laughed but his eyes is sad.
"She will. Why don't you try to pursue her?" I asked him rubbing his shoulder.
"I can't. I don't deserve her." He said sad.
"Don't say that, I know you can changed, just prove her." I said still rubbing his shoulder.
He shrugged. "Love is just an escape." Then laugh more.
I didn't say a word, I just watched him emptied the wines in front of him. Anthony just look at him too. We both know that Jace is showing his weak side only in front of us. He used to be a teasing one, a carefree and jolly person, but deep down he is a sad and hopeless boy, waiting for her girl.
He drinked and drinked until he fell asleep, me and Anthony remain awake for hours drinking a little.
"I think I should help him." I said determined.
"Yeah me too." He agreed.
"It kills me knowing that he's been suffering this long." I felt my eyes blurred.
"Sshhh.. he'll be okay." Anthony carress my hand, I felt shivers again. I just at nod him preventing myself to cry.

After cleaning up, I headed to my room, Anthony help Jace upstairs.
I washed then changed into my pj's, I've exhausted that made me fall asleep easily...
