Fate

I'm awake on my phone ringing, I tried reaching for it still my eyes closed, I slowly open my eyes to take a look at the caller id, my eyes widen...
"I was about to call you Bby." I said in drowsy voice, I was planning on how to reach for me, but fate has it way. Im glad, hope things get feasible.
"Well goodmorning sleepyhead." She said cheerful.
"Im glad you call." I said in bit cheerful tone, I dont want to ruin the plan.
"Yeah, I have good news for you." Still cheerful.
"Great! What is it?" I asked mincing.
"Well come to my place first, mom and dad wants to see you and almost kick me out of the house." She said in playful tone.
I knew it. Great! Sure fate has it own way.
"Okay, I'll be there. Maybe a little late, I just got up to bed." I said gentle.
"Okay take your time, see you later Z."
And she hang up.

I got up to bed and hurriedly went to Jace room. Without a knock, I entered, I almost drop my mouth Oh my! I saw Anthony on the other bed, shirtless... Jace in his yesterday clothes, they're both still sleeping. I tried my best to avoid Anthony's naked top, what a breakfast! Shame, buzz off naughty mind. I have mission to complete...
"Jace! Jace!" I exclaimed, shaking his shoulder with full force but no effect.
"Goodmorning." Anthony said in drowsy voice, my heart beat fast, his morning voice is sexy, I felt my cheek heated.
"Ahhmm. Goodmorning, did I wake you up?" I asked feeling ashame.
"No, I'm glad you're the first thing I saw this morning." He said smiling.
Why so sweet this morning, I felt more heat in my face.
"Ah... we need to go somewhere... I need to wake up Jace." I stuttered, changing the topic, I can't stand his sweetness.
"I see." He said brief then getting up, my eyes roam around his muscular body, he's only wearing boxers, Ahhhh! I immediately remove my eyes on him before I make a sin. I heard him chuckled, he saw me staring! Shame I want to fade right now...
He grab Jace feet then throw him in the floor, not too strong to wake him up, oh yeah finally.
"Is that how you say goodmorning huh!" Jace growled at Anthony.
Anthony just smirked then look at me, Jace turned his head and saw me,
"And what are you doing here young lady?" He said looking annoyed, well he's not a morning person to start with.
"We need to go somewhere." I said firm.
"I'm not coming with you." He retorted.
"Big Man, I'm not asking if you will come or not, I am saying that we will go somewhere." I said in sarcasm.
"So a young lady can order me around huh?" He still in his mood, pathetic punk.
"You will come with me whether you like it or not, I'll see you in 30 minutes."
I said stubborn without waiting for his answer,  I gave Anthony a make-sure-he-come look, I went back to my room and took a shower.
Blow dry my hair then pull it in a high pony,  no make up. I put in my khaki shorts and a black V top paired in my white trainers. The weather is warm and humid, summer time. I grab my sling bag, shades and keys.

Headed downstair I saw Jace in jeans and white shirt who look like a monster, face frowning almost ready to kill someone,what a moody! He just smirked at me and not saying a word. While Anthony wear jeans and black shirt, okay are we that connected? That even color of shirt is match. He smiled at me, I know that smiles of him. I felt my traitor cheek heated. I bid mom and dad goodbyes.

Since Jace is not on the mood,  Anthony in the driver seat, me on the passenger seat and Jace on the back seat. I saw Jace giving me a annoying look, that moody jerk. I just rolled my eyes on him.
We drop by to McDonalds drive tru to grab food, then headed straight to our destination.
Jace still on the mood, he did'nt eat his food and chose to sleep.
Anthony didn't asked me if where we are going, just focused on driving.
The place is 3 hours drive, its almost 11 am, I messaged Abby upon arrival. And after a minute, I saw her walking closer to us. Anthony and I get off the car, while Jace is still sleeping.
I hugged her first before I turned to wake up Jace, he's still in his mood but when he saw Abby, I saw him quite shock, blinked in several times, then compose himself, no emotion face. Great! What a pretender.
He just looked at me, no emotion, I can't read this jerk.

We headed inside their house, Abby and I first, followed by Jace and Anthony. Their house is not too big and not too small but the interior is welcoming.
Jason and Myra gave me a tight hug...
"We missed you beautiful." Myra said sincerely looking happy.
"I missed you too, sorry I've been busy lately." I said back sincere.
"Its okay lady, make yourself at home, we're almost done for our lunch." Jason said.
"Thank you." I smiled.
"Let's stay in the living area for a while." Abby said, I felt that she's quite uneasy, maybe because Jace is with me.
"Sure." I said gentle and the 4 of us headed. Abby knows Anthony because his Jace bestfriend, so no need for introduction.

"How's your trip?" Abby asked bit worried.
"Its good, the way here is much of a scenery."
"Yeah, it is. I didn't know that you'll come with them." Abby whispered to me.
I smiled. "Sorry Bby, I dragged them to accompany me. Is there a problem?"
"No, not at all, its just that... But Im glad you came." She said in hesitation, I can feel that his angel and devil is debating whether to tell me that she's happy seeing Jace. I felt quite relieved knowing that there is still something left that she chose to ignore years ago. I know and I felt that she like Jace too, she's just afraid to get hurt. I just smiled at her.

"Lunch ready." Myra called out.
Then we headed to the dining, Jason in the center, Myra on the right then Abby beside while me opposite of Myra, Jace beside me opposite of Abby and Anthony beside Jace.
I can see that the two is really avoiding each other gaze the whole time.
The food is really exceptional, they cooked different NJ dishes which is perfect for this season. I can't help myself from eating heavy.
"You've never changed young lady." Myra said.
"I can't help it you're food is really amazing." I said cheerful.
"Heavy eater." Abby teased.
"You can't blame me Bby." I teased back.
They let out a laugh, Anthony smiled at me like usual, But Jace is in no emotion. I want to throw him in the sea right now.
"Zoe did Abby mention that she's moving out?" Myra said.
I saw Jace lift uphis head, I pretend unaware.
"Is she?" I said pretending.
"Apparently they want to kick me out of this house." Abby rolled her eyes.
Jason chuckled. "You're not a baby anymore, you should live your life. We are good now, you gave a lot, its time for you to experience true life." His voice is calm.
"Yes dear, dont worry about us." Myra added.
"Look Z they really throwing me away to boroughs." Abby pouted.
"Well, its about time to gave your bestfriend a time, are'nt we?" I said teasing.
"And you're siding them? okay okay, my stuffs are already packed." Abby said in poker face.
"Don't worry about her, I can take care of her." I said to her parents.
"We know young lady, have patience with the big baby girl of us." Jason said.
"Of course, I will." I gave them re-assuring smile...
