"Merry Christmas everyone!"

I smiled at Mom's loud greeting. Yes, it's now Christmas. Ang saya ng Pasko ko ngayon. I don't know but I'm just extremely happy. I'll call my friends later.

"Merry Christmas din Mom, Kuya, Dad!" I smiled and hugged everyone. They smiled and we did a group hug. I also greeted our housse maids.

We're all like a big family. 'Di nakasuot ng uniporme ang mga kasambahay at boy namin dito sa bahay. It feels amazing to see their smiles. Sa araw na 'to ay hindi nila kami pagsisilbihan, hindi nila dapat isipin ang gawain sa bahay. At sa araw na 'to ay sama-sama kaming nagsasalo sa mga blessings.  I smiled.

"Nako, ma'am! Salamat ho at isa na namang Pasko ang naidaos rito sa bahay ninyo. Napakasaya ho namin at kayo ang amo namin," ani Mayordoma namin. Mom smiled and they hugged each other.

Love is everywhere. It's comfortable.

"Princess! Salita ka naman diyan oh. Lutang ka na naman," pangaasar sa'kin ng Kuya.

"Heh, kuya. I'm just overwhelmed!"

"Sige na, maupo na tayo lahat at kumain na," Mom said and we all sat down. Our Christmas is like this every year but it's not tiring.

The table was filled with delicious foods together with our prayers, wishes and laughs. We're all happy and thankful. And that's how our Christmas dinner went.

"Merry Christmas, 'nak. Goodnight!" Mom said before she left my room. Mom went here after our dinner. She went to kuya's first. We just talked about things. We're like this every Christmas. I always tell her my wish before going to sleep. After all, I'm still her little daughter.

I smiled when I lied down my bed.

"Ay, hala. I still have to call my friends!" I realized it now only. Nasiyahan yata ako sa kuwentuhan namin ni mommy.

I went to our group chat and tapped the video call. Gladly, they all answered my call.

"Hi, mga te! Merry Christmas!" it's Jas.

"Yup, Merry Christmas din. Are you guys having fun?" I asked.

"Oo, Icy. I'm drinking here with my cousin. I'm not in our house by the way," Jas answered, obviously a little tipsy now.

"Me, too, Icy. Konti lang naman. Shot shot lang," ani Mimai at tumawa ng bahagya.

"Hmm, kami din nag-inom ng mga pinsan ko. But I went to my room early. Ayaw ko malasing mamaya makagawa ako ng kagagahan, God no," ani Alli kaya natawa si Mimai at Jas.

Well, I guess Alli is a bad drinker.

"Nothing extraordinary 'bout mine. Just pure dinner and had some talk with mom. Just like every other Christmas. But still, I love it," I said and smiled.

"Icy, tunog rich kid. My nose is bleeding and my head is aching I'm not intelligenter," sabi ni Jas at umakto-akto pa na nagdudugo ang ilong kunwari.

"Heh, lasing ka na girl. Tama na 'yan!" I said and laughed.

"Paskong pasko nageenglish, 'wag ganon," gatong ni Alli. Ako na naman pinagtripan nila. Mahal na mahal talaga nila 'ko, sobra. Note the sarcasm, please.

"Oh eh ano ba ganap? Si Lock ba diyan nag-pasko sa inyo? Shet, level up si kuya mo," tawa ni Mimai ang sumunod. Lahat sila nagsigatong pa sa sinabi ni Mimai kaya naman puro iling na lang ang nagawa ko.
