Chapter 26

Sadè POV

"Shit" I mumbled to myself, feeling my anxiety creep up on me.

"Baby" I heard Roddy say as he walked in the kitchen seeing me breathing heavily.

"Oh shit baby you okay?" He asked, I just leaned over the counter breathing heavily in and out, I felt like I couldn't breathe and it scares me everytime.

"Shit" I heard Roddy mumble and he went in my refrigerator grabbing my water bottle opening it and handing it to me.

"Drink this now baby" He said sighing, I grabbed the bottle and slowly poured some water in my mouth as he rubbed my back slowly.

"Just breathe please I'm here with you." Roddy said, continuing to rub my back. I started beginning to relax, taking slow deep breaths.

"I-I'm okay.." I said.

"Baby what I tell you? You must slow down." Roddy said.

"I know.." I said.

"I'm serious." He said.

"I know.. I'm gonna take my pill right now. I'm doing better, the doctor reduced my dosage." I said.

"Yeah but he ain't take you off of them." Roddy said.

"Ugh you sound like Camilla" I said rolling my eyes.

"It's the truth. Speaking of, where the fuck she at? We supposed to take her to see Lucas" Roddy said.

"She's on her way." I said.

"Now that she's back she gotta make shit right wit that nigga, she really got him fucked up" Roddy said. I sighed.

"I know.. She just was ashamed. Don't beat her over the head with that please, she feels bad enough" I said.

"I ain't gone say too much" Roddy said throwing his hands up.

"Good." I said as the door bell rang.

"Can you get that please baby?" I asked him. He nodded his head walking to the front door.

Camilla POV

"Wassup cousin" Roddy said opening Sadè's door and giving me a hug.

"Hey" I said hugging him back. They took care of the whole situation for me, got rid of the detectives and all. I owe all three of them.

"Is Lucas here yet?" I asked.

"Nah he's on his way. And what is this you got on?" Roddy asked me and I smacked my lips.

"Roddy don't start with her she's grown." Sadè said walking towards me and embracing me with a hug.

"I sure am" I said hugging Sadè back.

"Okay she got these tight shorts on and-"

"Roddy." Sadè said laughing.

"I'm just saying." Roddy said.

"But you wouldn't complain if Sadè had them on" I said.

"Well... That's different." He said, and we all laughed.

"Mhm." Sadè said.

"That's Lucas pulling up right now." Roddy said, I grew so nervous.

I haven't seen my baby in so long and he doesn't even know I'm here. Also, he's very upset with me and I understand.

"He's so mad at me.." I said sighing.

"Well this your chance to fix it big head" Roddy said and I pushed him.
