I'm almost there too, 8 months and some change. I was actually more excited then nervous.
"The new house is beautiful too. Roddy did a great job picking it out" Camilla said.
"Right! I'm proud of him, it's actually something I like" I said chuckling.
"Right. Fits for both of you" She said.
"Okay I'm finna lay the edges on the wig on this side, then you'll be finished." I said.

"How do you feel now that you're engaged to Lucas?" I asked.
"Much better. You know how long I've been waiting on him to ask me?" She said.
"I already know. At least you never pressured him, you know? And you waiting till he was ready so it wasn't like he asked because he felt like he had to." I said.
"And here look" I said handing her the mirror.
"Sadè... Everytime! Girl you finna have me looking right while I'm snapping back!" Camilla said smiling, feeling herself in the mirror.
