"You ready?" I asked Roddy, we were getting ready to go out for lunch. And I was hungry so we needa dip.
"Yeah but we needa talk first" He said.
"What's up?" I asked sitting on the edge of the bed next to him.
"You need to talk to Camilla and iron out y'all problems" Roddy said and I laughed.
"Come on let's go" I said.
"Sadè I'm serious." He said.
"Why me?" I asked.
"You hurt her feelings baby.." He said.
"Okay? She hurt my feelings every time she lies to me concerning you. And YOU needa stop telling her to lie to me." I said. He sighed.
"Aight I will. But she been sad and shit, and her hair look a hot ass mess. I went over there earlier but you know she too prideful to ask you right now." Roddy said and I chuckled.
"There's plenty of other hair stylists." I said.
"You know she don't trust nobody with her hair but you." Roddy said.
"Not my battle, not my problem." I said shrugging.
"Can you stop being stubborn? She made a mistake. Okay?" Roddy said.
"Too many." I said.
"But y'all best friends.. Promise me you'll think about it?" Roddy said.
"Of course I'm gone think about it. Of course, Camilla is my best friend like you said. But right now I want my space." I said.
"Alright well-" But then he got cut off by my phone ringing, my eyes widened when I seen it was my father.
"Ahh!" I screamed.
"What? What's wrong?!" Roddy asked immediately concerned, which I thought was cute.
"It's my dad! Yay!" I said excitedly.
"Babe you had me trippin! Don't do that again" He said chuckling.
"Sorry baby" I replied answering the phone.
"Hey dad!" I said.
"Hey baby, I'm so sorry I ain't been keeping good contact with you. Yo old man been busy but that ain't no excuse. How are you?" He asked me.
"I'm good. I'm good! How are you?" I asked him.
"I'm good. I just wanted to check on you mentally. I seen... You know....." He said.
"No I don't know... What?" I asked chuckling.
"Well I didn't see it because once I saw the headline I was like hell nah. But I know what happened" He said.
Then I thought about it.
"Oh... Um.." I said, well this is awkward.
"Yeah.. See, we were just being irresponsible and they got us on tape" I said sighing. I knew he was talking about the sex tape. How embarrassing all over again.
