Sadè POV

"Good morning baby girl" My dad said walking in my bedroom. I tried to sit up but couldn't. I was so sore and in so much pain.

"I would get up but.." I said.

"Yeah I understand, just rest.. And take this." He said handing me an ice pack.

"Where are you in pain the most?" He asked.

"My face and my stomach, and my back." I said.

"Damn.. Okay uh, let me get you two more ice packs. Put this on your stomach though." He said, I grabbed the ice pack and placed it on my stomach, taking a deep breath.

"I'll be back." He said and I nodded my head.

Roddy POV

"Nigga why you ain't tell me?!" Lucas asked, I told him the whole story about Messiah when I went to him and Mill's house.

"Man it all happened so fast." I said sighing.

"I'ma bust bro ass if I ever run into him." Lucas said shrugging. "I knew it was something off about him" He added.

"Yeah me too. I'm just glad me and OG was there to pull her through." I said.

"Who's OG?" Lucas asked.

"Oh! I met her dad, he came in seeing me beat Messiah ass and-"

"Please tell me he beat that nigga too" Lucas said.

"He did. With brass knuckles" I said.

"Ahhh shit I already fuck wit him" Lucas said and I laughed and said "Me too nigga. His name is Michael but they call him June."

"I know a nigga named June, he married my aunt not too long ago." Lucas said.

"Oh wow" I said chuckling.

"So what you gone do now? About you and Sadè?" Lucas asked.

"I don't know.. But I'ma call her in a bit and check on her. Make sure she good. I cried man, shed some real life tears." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because she was sobbing. She had a black eye, her cheek was swollen, bruises all on her back, and I wasn't even there to protect her from getting that." I said sighing.

"Man don't beat yourself up. At least y'all finally got him, and he out the picture. My question is, when we gone kill him? Because can easily try to come back." Lucas said.

"Yeah I know. Me and OG didn't do it that day because it would've been in Sadè house which would've landed her in jail so. Had to think logically." I said.

"We'll figure something out. We always do" Lucas said shrugging.

"What's that on your arm?" I asked him looking at it.

"Oh this? Mill got us these a while ago. They bond bracelets. She can literally send me messages and everything no matter how far she is from me." Lucas said and I chuckled.

"Awwwwwwwww" I said sarcastically and he laughed and pushed me.

"Shut up nigga. I love it" He said shrugging.

"You really in love with my cousin. It's dope though, I appreciate you being solid wit her." I said.

"Always. That's my baby" Lucas said.

"And don't think I forgot. I thank you for being solid wit me too. Even when I don't like it" I said.

"It's all love, don't even mention it" Lucas said and we shook hands.
