Chapter 20

Sadè POV

11:57 PM

I just got out the bath, drying off and wrapping a towel around me, I sighed a little looking in my bathroom mirror.

I couldn't believe already, Roddy cheated on me.

Glad I got the warning now, rather then being in a relationship with him for so long and then he goes off and cheats.

I brushed my hair down, quickly walking into my room cutting on the stereo hearing "10k hours" by Jhene Aiko playing.

I went back into the bathroom taking my towel off and hanging it over the shower, before grabbing my silk white robe and tying it around me.

I put my hair into a low bun, and leaned over the counter taking a deep breath. My anxiety was beginning to get to me.

I put some water over my face, taking a deep breath before walking into my bedroom, lighting my candles again.

Then I laid in the bed, sighing.

I just haven't brought myself to talking to Roddy about it because I wasn't in the mood to hear excuses of why he did it and how sorry he was.

To me it's just a bunch of lies, and I don't wanna deal with it right now.

Roddy POV

I pulled up to Sadè's house and pulled out the keys she gave me and walked inside sighing.

She hasn't reached out to me since I told her finally and it's been hours and hours. I had to check on her, and we have to talk about what happened.

I heard some music playing from upstairs and I walked upstairs seeing Sadè laying in her bed with her eyes closed and the candles were lit.

I knocked on the door and then said "Baby?"

She sat up and looked at me.

"I uh, tried to call first but you didn't answer.." I said.

"I was.. Taking a bath." She said.

"Can we talk?" I asked her walking inside the bedroom and she sighed.

"There's really nothing to say." Sadè said.

"You always have something to say.." I said walking closer to her.

"Okay well, how about... Get yo shit." She said getting up from the bed. I sighed and said "Sadè hear me out"

She walked to the closet and opened it and said "Get the things you own and get out."

"I need you to talk to me" I said walking up to her, grabbing her hands and she yanked them from me and grabbed my shirts I had in her closet and threw them at me.

"Wait calm down Sadè" I said.

"Get yo shit and get out of my house." Sadè said tryna stay calm.

"I ain't leaving that easy baby" I said. "We gotta talk" I added.

"Talk about what? You fucking this bitch?" Sadè said.

"I didn't fuck! She just gave me head" I said sighing.

"Either fucking way I don't care! Just get out of my house, I don't wanna hear no excuses" Sadè said.

"I have no excuse I know what I did was wrong! I just caught up baby and it was wrong and I'm-"

"Yeah you sorry I know." Sadè said.

"Baby hear me out please... I didn't tell you all this time because I know you been through a lot and I didn't wanna add any pain to your heart man.." I said sighing.
